US Air Force Major Arrested for Illegally Protesting on Capitol Steps While Calling f
Quote:
An active-duty Air Force officer was arrested on the steps of the US Capitol on Wednesday while protesting Trump and calling for his impeachment in uniform.
Jason Watson, a US Air Force Major who attended the US Air Force Academy, participated in a press conference sponsored by far-left lunatic Rep. Al Green (D-TX), where he called for his boss, the commander in chief, to be removed and convicted.
According to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Watson could face court-martial proceedings for contempt toward officials stemming from his participation in the event and his calls for Trump’s impeachment.
UCMJ Article 88 states, “Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”
He started his speech at the press conference with the oath of office before tearing into the President, describing the American people as “the greatest threat to our Democratic Republic,” arguing that “We have all played a part, myself included, in getting ourselves into this mess.”
Watson continued, “For the past 18 months, we the people have allowed the highest levels of the executive branch of the federal government to violate our Constitution and their oath to it with impunity,” while accusing Trump of “innumerable” impeachable offenses.
He went on to spew left-wing talking points about military operations against Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran, cuts to USAID, immigration enforcement, federal law enforcement’s efforts to subdue violent rioters, lawsuits against media companies and universities, tariffs, and even the UFC fight on the White House lawn.
After each example, Watson stated, “For this, the President and Vice President must be impeached, convicted, and removed.”
Video circulating on social media shows Watson later standing on the Capitol steps in uniform while holding a sign that reads, “Impeach, Convict, Remove,” before Capitol police arrested him for illegally standing on the steps. Supporters could be heard booing the police and chanting, “Who do you protect? Who do you serve?” as well as screaming profanities.
Rep. Al Green spoke out against the arrest in a video posted on social media.
“I just left the Capitol grounds, and I was there to witness a Major in the United States Military bend the arc of a memorial toward justice,” Green said. “He stood for impeachment of a president on the Capitol grounds, and thereafter, he walked up the steps, where he was arrested, and he was taken away.”
He continued, “This is the kind of courage necessary to inspire others who understand that liberty and justice for all that we pledge allegiance to is something that we can make real. It’s more than an ideal; it is something that can be real for every person in this country if we would only have the courage to take the stand that Major Watson took.”
More from the Washington Times:
Maj. Watson was initially accompanied by Rep. Al Green, Texas Democrat, after an impeachment press conference led by the Removal Coalition, a grassroots organization. When the congressman left the area, police officers told Maj. Watson to stop his demonstration or he would be arrested.
“The man refused our lawful orders and was then arrested for 22-1307 Crowding, Obstructing, and Incommoding,” a Capitol Police spokesperson said. “It is important to note that there are plenty of other spots on Capitol Grounds where demonstrating is allowed.”
Maj. Watson is risking his active-duty military career to publicly call for Mr. Trump’s impeachment.
The Air Force major enlisted in 2005. While he still holds active-duty status, he is currently on leave from his post as a logistics readiness officer in Poland.

LOL, what a dumb S, he couldn't wait until he was out. As a matter of fact if I'm not wrong an officer can relinquish his service after his six years are up from being commissioned. He could have done that demonstrating while a civilian and chose not to...and for a dumb S like Al Green. Bwahahaha, what a douche. I tell you just because you graduated from a military college does not prove that you're smart.
I hope that he gets demoted to E1, spends a few years in the brig and then let him go work at the nearest McDs.

Figures. I mean, how freaking hard is it just to keep thoughts like that to yourself? Apparently, too damn hard, lol.

He’ll be running for something as soon as he is discharged. Hopefully, that discharge will be dishonorable, but we’ll see.
For a long time, the US military (and the national security agencies, too) was very adept at keeping people like Jason Watson either out of the service entirely, or (failing that) at least keeping them in irrelevant/unimportant jobs where they couldn’t cause any real trouble. The failure/inability of the Armed Forces to effectively do that anymore is a big part of the Clinton/Obama legacy. Hegseth is making some progress in mitigating the damage, but this problem will be with us for a long time.

What are y'all talking about. That Major is trying to get ditched before his ass has to fight somewhere. He's about the right rank to have graduated from the initial wokeness making its presence felt at the AFA. I wrote a recommendation for one accepted at that time and upon a visit home he visited to tell me how disappointed he was to witness it there.
He's likely also been passed over at least twice for Lt. Col sending him a clear message about his future career.
There's another objective. Woke/Socialism needs to be eradicated from all three of our service academies to never return. The only exception would be for anyone training in Intelligence work. They would need to be well versed in it to blend, report, and eliminate it and those who push its agenda.
