RE: Charlie Kirk Shot In The Neck and Killed, RIP, Then Game On
Does somebody have some legit info that says the rifle was found fully intact? All I recall is it was wrapped in a towel and found in the woods. Remember, the photo of the rifle that WAS intact turned out not to be the weapon, IIRC. A pellet gun.

And there was a screwdriver on the roof with his DNA on it. And his DNA was found on the rifle trigger and other rifle parts, which happened to be in the woods in exactly the direction he was filmed exiting the campus. His DNA was also found on 3 of the 4 shell casings, including the one that killed Kirk.

There are always surprises in these situations that don't fit well, but thinking that text messages sound phony is not real evidence. It's simply an opinion. And yes, not only did I read every word of the text messages, I also listened to them read aloud in the presser.

Unless somebody is making all this stuff up (sorry, that's a bridge way too far for me), then they have the shooter. I honestly don't recall a more obvious case. Mangione seemingly didn't have nearly the evidence against him that is supposedly linking Robinson to the Kirk shooting, and where is Mangione right now?

Could others be involved before and/or after? Sure, TBD. But a weird sounding bunch of texts is not enough proof for me to refute all the other reported evidence.

From the text messages provided yesterday, the grandfather saw a pic of the gun and immediately contacted the shooter's dad to ask where HIS gun was because it looked just like his.

Okay. And...? That's not proof that it was found assembled, and even if it was, all that means is that he somehow had it in that bag going and coming. I'm still curious as to how he could leave a dang screwdriver on the roof with his DNA on it. Dumb. And the screwdriver had to be for assembling and/or disassembling it.

Plus, my post you quoted, #1041 above, I edited and added much more to it, apparently after you quoted it.

I have no clue. All I know is there is reportedly a ton of evidence against Robinson, and weird sounding texts aren't even in the ballpark of convincing me that all the other evidence should be refuted.

Typically, evidence photos are taken of evidence in their "As is" state. Maybe he left the screwdriver because he panicked and didn't take it apart. Still didn't see anything in the video resembling him having a gun. There is no strap so it would have had to be a hindrance to him jumping off the roof and walking down the street.

He was sure as hell carrying a large bag with him when he jumped off the roof. It's easy to see in the video.

And the screwdriver was up on the roof for some damn reason.

Listen, anybody can think anything, but we don't have all the evidence, and Robinson is sitting in jail, so I tend to go with what's happening in front of us, as opposed to some theory that the texts sound weird.

So, y'all are saying that the kid wasn't the shooter? LOL

Maybe someone from that mysterious airplane shot him.

Man, we sure have a lot of penny store detectives here, but that's all right, you have the first amendment to say whatever...like me.

I don't get it, either. I'm trying to think of a single time where we arrested an alleged assassin of a major political figure, and he turned out not to be the guilty person.

There are always little evidence details reported (or omitted) in the press that don't seem to make total sense, or at least leave a door open to other theories. But do any of those theories ever come to fruition?

No that is NOT what people are saying. What they are saying is there are lots of suspicious stuff going on and they aren't willing to swallow hook line and sinker the stuff they're feeding us.

You obviously want to believe them. I can find no reason to believe anything the FBI says. I have no proof of anything. I'm not at all saying there's funny business going on, I'm saying I don't put it past them.

Yep. This is a fair statement to make. I mean look at the JFK assassination. We were lied to -- or at least not given the whole true -- for many years, and it took Trump to finally release the files sixty-two years later for everything to emerge. And guess what? JFK's own daughter tried to say it was a political stunt. (This goes to something gdunn and I were discussing in the Mormon mom thread.)

I do think we've got the right guy in this instance, but is this just the tip of the iceberg (that is, are more people involved), or is he just a lone gunman? Only time will tell.

I personally see a rigid object ehen you frame by frame it when he jumped off thw building... its a poor video so no one can tell for sure or not.

Fact is his own grandfather recognized the damn thing, it matches prints and ballistics. Where is the damn conspiracy?

And yes I think the deep state killed JFK so Im always hesitant to just believe what we are told.

Some of this **** is in Sandy Hook land.

there's no doubt in my mind based on the kill shot as it entered and how his head reacted ... best I can tell is Oswald nicked him as Kennedy leaned forward towards Connally as the deep state shooter made the kill shot...

the Zapruder film is enough for me...

in this case, there was only one shot ... that's a big difference...

The Atlantic Olympic bomber: Richard Jewell. Off the top of my head. I'm not saying he didn't do it, I'm just saying the whole thing about the gun does not add up.

Nope. I have no interest in believing anybody. I try to go strictly by the evidence presented in the media, particularly if it comes from pressers, as opposed to reported stories.

Here's what I believe so far, based on that premise.

* His DNA was on the screwdriver left on the roof.
* His DNA was on the trigger of the alleged murder weapon.
* His DNA was on other parts of the rifle.
* The rifle has been identified as the murder weapon.
* His DNA was found on three of the 4 bullets (including the one that killed Kirk).
* There is a photo of a note found in his home that tells his roommate he is going to kill Kirk.
* There is video of a person jumping off the roof right after the shooting, carrying a bag that was large enough to contain a rifle, especially if it had been broken down. (the screwdriver leads us to believe he either assembled or disassembled the gun on the roof, or perhaps did both, especially since it was lying on the roof, which supports that he used it up there for some purpose).
* His father saw the videos and photos released by the FBI, and he and the mother both agreed that it looked like Tyler.
* He told his roommate lover in the text messages that he did it.
* He told his father that he did it.
* He told his father he would prefer to kill himself rather than turn himself in. His father was the one who convinced him to turn himself in, so the father absolutely believes he did it.

I'm sure there is more. I'm just typing this off the top of my head. FOR NOW, it's more than enough to convince me that they have the right guy, but I'm certainly not naive enough to think that it's a 100% done deal.

I also believe that either he had help, or he at least told people before and/or after about this, and yet those people said nothing to the authorities, so I'm sure there is more to come.

This whole "the text messages are phoney" seems like the dumbest and most despearate deflection attempt ever. What, the FBI decided to just randomly pick a kid who was dating a trans kid----sprinkled his DNA on a gun owned by his grandfather---and manufactured text messages---and then got his father to play along with it? Thats the kicker on the "fake messages". The FBI had no idea who this kid was until the kids dad turned him in. The whole "fake text messages" thing is just dumb. More likely the guy did something horrific and freaked out---needed to spill his guts to someone---and then did exactly that to someone he thought he could trust.

Those texts read like panic to me. They also show just how out of sink the guy is with reality. He actually believed his biggest problem was explaining his grandfather's missing gun to his dad.

The FBI had no idea who this kid was until the kids dad turned him in, The whole "fake text messages" thing is just dumb.

Clay and Buck are talking about it now. Both feel the texts messages and leaving the rifle don't add up. Buck was an Intelligence officer as his career and said it "doesn't add up". Why leave the rifle? Having a backpack on a college campus does not stand out, if that was where the rifle was somehow placed.
