Good deal. I'm in the office at the moment - no TVs.

God is more than capable of working through our Government as in any other facet of life. You should ask your pastor if God is powerful enough to work through Government.

Are you proud to live in a country where someone can add $100 billion to their net worth in 1 day but someone who works in a coal mine in west virginia for 40 years can't feed themselves? Or works 2 full time jobs and never sees their kids and sends them to school hungry where people vote against free lunch.

I'm not. We can do much better and the Church is not filling the gap. Whether its from false prophets soaking up resources, people not giving as much or attending church. There is a clear need in this country and if you don't see it you're being willfully ignorant.

I don't want to live in a country where someone can be worth half a trillion dollars but good people who work hard can't make ends meet. If that means we lose a few billionaires then so be it. You say worship God not government and thats fine. I say worship God not shareholder value back to you.

Thou shall not covet.

Find your utopia and move. This country is still free.

I get where you're coming from and it's a valid point from a logical reasoning point of view. I'm a very logically constructed person myself which is why faith has always been somewhat of a tug - but it's also why faith is defined the way it is. This is not a callous response but in reference to the bolded part I do not care that one man is a billionaire and the other is poor. In the end God does not care how many riches were amassed while on earth. Jesus made clear that it is immensely more difficult for a wealthy man to reach the Kingdom of Heaven. Moreover, how often have you heard those examples of how much more difficult life is for the wealthy than seems like it should be? It's flashy on the outside but the billionaires are often empty, lonely, and without true knowledge. What matters to me is whether the rich man and poor man's hearts are pure. Ancient theology and belief systems were difficult. In spite of man's failure, Jesus has now made it easy for us. All we have to do is accept. This life is always going to be difficult no matter what our bank account status is.

If you aren't proud of the country then why don't you leave it? I think you know why you don't. Because the answer you think you have in your mind doesn't exist in one of the other ones. So, from a secular point of view, am I proud to be from this country? Yes, because it's not defined by the number of billionaires vs poor. It's defined by the best form of freedom any society has come up with so far and gives everyone the same chance to succeed. Strap on the boots and make your own destiny. That's what separates this place from the others, and deep down you probably know it if you will allow yourself to step away from the CNN, twitterverse, etc. The one thing I'm not proud of is how too many of us have sat on our hands as evil forces have sought to destroy those freedoms and pit one against another.

I didn't say that I wasn't proud of this country in general. Theres many things about the US to be proud of, or at least who we used to be just a few years ago.

But I am not proud of our wealth inequality and the fact that it is exponentially increasing. People should be disgusted that 1 man is worth half a trillion but we have homeless vets, hungry children and elderly and good people struggling.

Personally I don't consume tv news or use twitter facebook etc. I also recommend you turn off fox news, facebook etc. They are designed to make you angry and therefore engaged- its how they sell ads and make money.

And I personally know people with high 7 figure and at this point probably 8 figure net worths- let me tell you they are just as messed up as normal people but they are happy as **** about all their money.

Well, Trump is convinced, so until proof comes out to the contrary, I'll buy it.

long ago, before 2016 when trump was just banging and paying off porn stars (and whatever he was doing with his "pal" Epstein) and only bankrupting his own businesses and not the country- there used to be a population of moderate centrists from both republican and democrat parties that found some common ground and advocated for beneficial policies for the country.

You'd probably be surprised at how moderate my own views are, just the Maga version has skewed extremely far right.

In regards to the shot, 200 yards is not that far away. I think the shooter was aiming for the head, but didn't take into account how much the round would drop due to gravity. Why aim for the neck, which is a smaller area and harder to hit when you can aim for the head which gives you twice as much more area to hit and has a 100% success rate? I think it was more of a lucky shot for the shooter. I dont think this was a professional hit.

Yet the left will implement policies that embolden things like homelessness and make them worse. Do you call those out?

Your world view is very myopic. Every nation has rich and poor people. No country in the world has provided more aid to other parts of the world than this one. No country has the private philanthropy dedicated to the issues you've described like this one. Yet, one side attempts to funnel many of those resources to places not to help people in need but for influence operations, create schisms, and consolidate power. Do you not see that? I mean talk about missing the forest for all the trees.

he should be banned for that post alone...

CommieTom has to be banned permanently.

No

Let the filth continue. Let them show us who they sre. They have done it today. We need to hear them and be reminded

Charlie wouldn't want him banned. He'd just smoke him on every point and dude would leave on his own. He literally had an answer for every liberal lie brought to his attention. Had a lot of haters but changed a lot of hearts and minds. We would be under the Kamala regime right now without him and they killed him for it.

He gave a bigger voice to the liberal youth than their own chosen leaders did. His crowds used to unilaterally boo him. Then it became 50/50. Now they boo the "guests" that get up with the same tired arguments that Kirk had debunked on multiple occasions.

Many of those guests just got angry, however. Logic replaced with emotion was being attacked and since their whole identity was tied to what they believed and words could no longer defend their stance, adequately, they joined hate groups that preach violence and the silencing of any that oppose their way of thinking/feeling, all under the umbrella of caring progressive organizations of educated like-minded activists. Then they organize and plan to make a real difference using any means necessary. They want revenge for having their identities ripped away from them via their feelings on politics. And a shot rings out.

That is the problem right there. Until we can figure out how to separate weak-minded emotional children from their ideas and give them a self that isn't tied to their favorite candidates this will perpetuate in a lot of today's youth. They can't separate being angry or disappointed from acting out in anger.

I was both angry and disappointed when Biden was elected and I knew times were going to get hard. But I had a me separate from my political leanings. I removed myself from online groups etc and went on about my life, unconcerned with what everyone else was doing, hoping that common sense would eventually prevail, which it did. It's hard to understand why tht is so difficult for others sometimes.

I knew he wasn't elected and that Americans were being duped. Started a big thread here about the AZ audit.

But didn't get up in arms about it.

As it turns out, we're starting to finally see the election fraud people get receptive concern from gov officials.
