WASHINGTON ― President Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped to 37%, according to a new Gallup poll, the lowest mark of his second term as independent voters have increasingly soured on his presidency.

The poll, taken July 7 through July 21, was conducted on the heels of Trump's July 4 signing of his "Big, Beautiful Bill" into law and as he's faced an intense backlash over his administration's refusal to release files in the government's case of disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

It marks a 10-point drop from the 47% approval rating Americans gave Trump's job performance at the beginning of his term in January. The poll, a phone survey of 1,002 Americans released July 24, has a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.

USAToday keeps their circulation numbers up for their advertising revenue by selling copies to all hotels and motels that will take them for .11 cents a copy. It's puppy paper for floor protection! And the reason they call the other the Gallup Poll is because their full of crap and can't find the loo.

This is why we may eventually have to do something about the left. Their whole life is built around a fiction that makes them hate, tells them they are victims, and that normal working people who don't have time for their shite are evil and the root of their problem ridden lives.

Bottom line a productive nation doesn't have time for it, and when they radicalize, they threaten the productive. When normal society has had enough it won't end well for them.

it's too funny ... my memories of usatoday go from my roomie calling out stats (I ran 3 fantasy leagues back in the day before affordable computers and the realistic internutz speed) to the travel days in the hotel (akin to CNN in the airports) and would just walk by, pick up three or more, and toss 'em in the garbage ... it became a silly little game...

man, I do NOT miss traveling...

37% is statistically impossible given that the latest polls have him between 88-90% among republicans. That would mean is they did a 1/3 rd each of pubs, dems and Indy he would have to be at zero percent among the latter two groups.

I hope you didn't expect a lib to think this through.

I saw that clip somewhere else and was immediately struck at how much Matthews has aged. I think he is 80 years old. I remember back in 1998/99, he was one of the very few liberals/Democrats who admitted that the Clinton scandals were not “about sex”, but actually went to the core of ethics and accountability in government. He has rarely shown that much sense in the intervening years but he sure nailed it on this one.
