RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #7
ACU------>04-jawdrop I am bewildered even more than after the UNC game
Speaking of UNC, they just beat Weber St who last week beat Montana! 04-jawdrop Back to the Wildcats ( ACU not Weber St) The loss hurts for sure, but you are still in the playoff hunt. I still think it is very possible for the UAC to get 3 teams in the post season this year. ACU has no more room for error other than a close loss to Tarleton and that is IF we do not lose one as well before we meet.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #7
Tarleton had the veteran parachute into the stadium with the American flag. He has been doing this for several years and it is beautiful. This year, his parachute displayed the name of a presidential candidate and this bothered me. It doesn’t matter which candidate’s name was on the parachute, any of them would be inappropriate. I just don’t want any of the political nonsense in a football game.

Any Given Saturday in this league, man, and I like it that way. Props to UNA for sticking with it and not giving up on the season. Reminds me of the old LSC days, when you had the perennial top 3-4 teams vying for the usual playoff spot(s) and there would always be a team that came storming out of nowhere to play spoiler. Many a playoff dream were dashed on a chilly Saturday night in Blackwater Draw NM, and I promise you NOBODY wants visit Florence, AL right now.

That is why I stopped watching the NFL.

Got tired of Idiots telling me how to treat people.

If they are so consumed with politics get candidates ready and political platforms and start running for office.

Either be a football league or a political party.

And this coming from a guy with BA in Political Science.

Blackwater Draw more like Backwater Draw. Eastern New Mexico was NEVER good enough to win the LSC but they could make your life miserable if you overlooked them. That old seventies style triple option was never fun for defenses especially when you didn’t face them but once a year.

Glad they got a new stadium in Portales and scrapped that place. I was told it was built there (between Portales and Clovis ) to get more attendance. Obviously that didn’t happen. I’m kinda shocked those two metropolitan areas haven’t grown together by now. Roswell is close by and after a few adult beverages you are likely to see more than UFOs out there.

Well deserved. ACU was voted by fans as the loss of the week.

RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #7
I hate to say it... I don't usually hope for any bad games to happen to anyone in conference, BUT... it would be nice for Tarleton to drop a conference game and UNA to win out.

It's a long shot, but let's get (both) purple into the playoffs...
