The Big East already has what...3 teams? (Seton Hall, Providence, and Xavier)...in the NIT and the brackets are only half full.

There's Big East #4...Butler, which is hosting.

They finished third in the WCC, behind Gonzaga and Saint Mary's, 23-10...

I love UC's draw:

1) San Francisco
2) Loyola/Chicago or Bradley (the old timers will go nuts)
3) Hosting Butler or visiting Indiana State

NIT can be weird, but UC should be in the Final Four.

First thing I thought of when I saw that bracket was that it looked like a 1950’s and 1960’s throwback.

Back to UC, Cats need to learn how to protect home court starting now. Big reason UC isn’t playing in the other tournament is the five home conference losses.

So strange the way things work. UC in the NIT would probably be a better representative in the NCAA for the conference than #4 seed Kansas.

San Francisco and Bradley are a combined 0-12 in Q1 games which bodes well for us hosting both.
