Not the greatest speech ever delivered.

But, much better than the screaming 80 year olds speech, that has been giving speches for over 50 years.

Just watched some of it. She did horrible, don’t even remember anything she said, but the over-the-top attitude is off putting.

The substance of her speech was good, but it was a really damn strange presentation. The soap opera level acting and why did they choose to film it in a kitchen? The woman is a US Senator

The rebuttal was aimed not at the the folks in this well regarded forum. It was to the suburban women of Milwaukee, Philly, Atlanta, etc. I think her staff said to act compassionate and understanding and she just didn't pull it off. Happens

None of us were the audience she intended to address. Moms are the audience targeted by her remarks. It's true we have some mothers here, but they aren't Moms. Her rebuttal was designed to reach the perceived area of weakest support for DJT. Crass and Brash doesn't sell to family raising aged women. Family and the kitchen table experience does.

What the Leftists on this board don't realize is that those of us on the Right criticize our own side. No so when you are a Leftist. You defend to the death.

On one hand they say 'I can't believe Trump is still popular," and then on the other "the GOP are clowns." It's a cause and effect that happened in 2015-2016 where the party completely shifted and the left still doesn't know why.

Sad. All she had to say was this "if democrat policies are so great why are people and businesses fleeing blue states in such high numbers?" Could have done a much better job given how easy it is to punch holes in democrat policies.
