RE: Nick Saban retiring
so who replaces him? It'd be funny as anything if it were Lane Kiffin.

I don't blame him. He's 72 years old. He's proven all he can prove and won as much as humanly possible. The game is changing with NIL and the portal.

Good for him.

I’m almost certain that’s who it will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if the deal wasn’t already in place before he turned down Auburn last year.

Saban didn’t spring this on Bama. The plans have likely been in the works a while.

Are there any coaches out there that wouldn't consider this job? (serious question, I know there are some, but how many and who?)

This could cause some serious ripples.

Let's hope for the trifecta and have Belichick in there as well...

But seriously, great career. Hope he enjoys his retirement.

3-5 years ago it was Dabo - 2 national titles, played at Alabama, etc. Now? Who knows.

Don't think so. I think the Alabama boosters would see his comments about everything and think he's way too behind the times right now.

Lanning vs Kirby in the SEC would be very interesting!

And do you want to be the coach that replaces Saban?

Sure don't think they settle for that guy. And that would absolutely be settling.
