Arizona is on the CEO board, and Arizona knows what is there, and Colorado did not. If Colorado was on the CEO board? Would you think they would bolt for the Big 12 if they know the same thing that Arizona does?

If they felt the number and/or the details wasn't (weren't) good enough, yes. (Also, how do you know the president of Colorado didn't see it? Are you privy to any and all PAC news via an insider? If so, who is that insider and how has that person not been exposed as the fraud he or she is by now?)

Scheer needs to shut his trap. I just can't stand him one bit.

D-St.: ...actually, wouldn't the loss of the top 3-4 PAC teams create a LOT of holes for the PAC to 'replenish', with BSU being a prime candidate?

Greek you are so right, David listen to the man... You want 4-6 schools to leave the PAC if you ever want a shot at getting Boise St. into a P5
If 4-6 leave the PAC and BSU joins, they are just as much of a power conference as was the Big East/AAC.

I was born in the state of Washington. It is the PAC 12 country, and UWashington is my home state team, and I want the PAC 12 to stay together. They have rivals with the PAC 12 schools, and not with the Big 10 nor the Big 12. That is why these conferences are screwing their fans by adding teams or teams leaving conferences that nobody wants to be in. It is one of the reasons why ticket sales are going down.

David, I to was born in Washington state and I went to the University of Washington. I feel your pain and it brings me no joy to watch the PAC fall apart, I've said that many times here. The reality though is that the PAC is dying. They have had numerous chances to expand their footprint and work with the networks to secure their future. They have failed my friend. It's time to understand this reality and move forward. 04-cheers

I agree. Word is only 1 more is being added, unless its Or/Wash then B12 would use all its prorata media chits. There is only 4 chits and CO took one.

ESPN will accept 4 P5 schools at pro rata; Fox only agreed up to 14, so it might be better if UA applied first and were accepted; Fox surely would not turn down UO/UW at pro rata if the Big Ten says no or not now.

If it is "not now," that 5 or 6 years in the Big XII would be good for the XII.

But why would the numbers be kept from Colorado? Especially if not knowing might push them to the b12?

They wouldn't be. I don't think they can legally withhold any information like that from member schools. (I'd have to read the PAC bylaws, but I'm sure they're legally obligated to let all member schools know what any financial numbers are regarding any media deal that may be on the table.)

It's David's conference dominos of denial, this is his 2nd one, he'll have a 3rd excuse after AZ leaves on why ASU,UU,UO,UW won't join the B12

Probably because Boise would no longer be in a “P” conference, but would instead be in a conference that isn’t even as strong as the last iteration of the AAC

He was right about CU though. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it false.

Scheerer’s additional tweets suggests Arizona is moving.

You must never hesitate

P12 schools need to adopt Eagle Fang's motto. Strike first, strike hard

The tweets suggest the discussion phase is over, now moving onto the administrative phase, to be followed by announcements.

I have always suspected Colorado wouldn’t jump unless they know someone else is jumping with them. Right now remaining pac12 schools are reaching out to the ACC.

Many of them are still hoping for a B1G invite. Soon or maybe later. They dont want to settle for the Big 12.05-stirthepot

Arizona and Colorado have no shot for B1G invites so they can move quickly.

I believe the Big 12 has always targeted Arizona and Colorado. Good fits geographically. Oregon and Washington would get an invite if they decide to come but without them I think the Big 12 holds at 14.

If the members of the tv negotiating committee really aren’t passing relevant information on to the other members—-then it’s actually their fault their conference is falling apart—not the Big12’s.
