I was thinking the same thing. If anything does happen I believe it will be started by outsiders.

I have a feeling a lot of "protestors" are going to end up with new TV's after this weekend.

This whole "we're bracing/hunkering down" nonsense is just stupid - almost like they're trying to wish it into existence.
Aside from out of towners coming in to try to stir up stuff, I truly don't anticipate any violence from the people of Memphis. Even with past protests, Memphians kept theirs relatively civil.

The real issues IMO will come IF (big if) these 5 get just a hand slap for punishment, like the Rodney King fallout in 1992. Right now I haven't heard one person say that they are disappointed with how this situation has been handled.

For all its problems, Memphis has done a decent job controlling possible riots the last few years. Or at least better than some other cities.

You should know by now, Green that much of the violence in these cases is typically more perpetrated by outside groups like antifa and others than locals.

IDGAF if its Memphians, outsiders, whoever. Wanna march and protest? Have at it. Just do it peacefully in the city. Wanna riot and burn your own neighborhoods? Have at it. Kill each other. Again, I dont care. Just stay out of the suburbs and we wont have a problem. Actually, it would be the protestors having a problem. Not us.

How come nobody can accept that it wasn't racially motivated and someone just sucked at their job? Whether you are the fry guy at McDonald's or selling insurance, people make errors every day on their job.
