Next year's OOC for Appy St. is Gardner-Webb, at UNC, ECU and at Wyoming. A 1-3 start before conference play even starts is a real possibility. LOL Again, You love to see it.

They are too busy doing what they do best, complaining about their fan experiences as a visiting team on facebook. I'm surprised though, according to them, Southern has topped us as the worst experience of their life, and they treated them worse then we did

You know this would be bad for the conference, right? That's an SBC loss to an AAC team, and to Wyoming. That's bad for everyone here, including you.

A 100-40 record the previous ten seasons... a 6-1 bowl record... four SBC titles... two SBC East titles... P5 wins over North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas A&M... A final ranking of #18 in the AP poll one year... multiple weeks of being ranked in the Top 25... and a fan base averaging over 30K at home...

I'd be okay with an off year if my team had been performing like that.

From my own experience, you have a really good idea of how your team will fare before anybody else does. Once they come to pass, usually before the halfway point - apathy is quick to set in. That's how I handle it anyway.

I thought there was one of the lost Commandments that anyone named "mountaineers' must lose :) (full discretion, I enjoyed their fans that came to Herdtown this year, and the helmet stickers were A-1 class)

App had an unexpected tough year. Happens to all of us. They'll be back. Be interesting to see how both Coastal does if McCall leaves, and what JMU does for a QB next season.

App fans simply can't believe it could happen to them. Denial may be a bit harsh at this early stage but it'll sink in half way through next season.

Coaching turnover at the rate they've experienced in the past five years will have negative consequences. There's no way to avoid it.

Any number of examples not the least of is ASU.

Agreed. I wasn't referring to future games. I just expected more gnashing of teeth from the fans, now.

No, I want to play a ranked APP every year. I want them to go 4-0 in OOC every year. It's the only way the conference will gaining momentum witht the voters. All of our teams need to win OOC, and I will be rooting for all of them.
