Exclamation Final Regular Season Polls
Good chance Troy and South Alabama make it into the AP and Coaches Polls. As for the CFP Top 25, we'll see, but I'm not holding my breath. UCF being ranked again will be the biggest joke of all if that happens.

UCF is so incredibly overrated.

They both deserve it. USA should have been ranked weeks ago.

RE: Final Regular Season Polls
Group of 5 ranking should be:

1.TROY
2.South
3.Tulane
4. UTSA
5. Cincinnati
6. JMU
7. Boise State
8. Fresno State
9. Coastal
10 Air Force
*UCF should not even be in the top 10 of the Group of 5 rankings

But it will most likely end up like this: puke:
1.Tulane
2. UCF
3. UTSA
4. Cincinnati
5. TROY
6. South
7. Boise State
8. Fresno State
9. Coastal
10 Air Force
*they are going to set it up where the American gets the NY6 bid

The Sunbelt Champ should jump a 3 loss American Champ
CUSA and MAC is the weakest Conferences in Group of 5.

A Sunbelt Champ Deserves the NY6 it this year.

RE: Final Regular Season Polls
I think Troy will squeak into AP and Coaches polls today

CFP I doubt it. But who knows.

South will be left out of all 3 I’m afraid. Tho they deserve it too.

23. Troy

RE: Final Regular Season Polls
If Tulane beats UCF — and I think they probably will — they will get the Access Bowl bid, and they will have earned it with an overall body of work that is superior to any other G5 team.

If UCF beats Tulane and Troy beats Coastal… that is a tough call. I honestly think Troy is the slightly better team, but I think UCF would be picked for the Cotton Bowl.

To think USM beating Tulane at home wasn't enough to knock them out of the BCS bowl. Maybe we will have to schedule them twice next year just to make sure.

Troy has the better Strength of Schedule compared to UCF, and a better record.... that's supposed to matter to the committee, but Troy will probably still get hosed.

#27 in coaches poll. Ole Miss at #26 could be blocking Troy's entry, having lost to them early in the opener.

Predicting Troy at 25 on the AP poll, deserve to be 22-23 though.

UTSA will most likely be ranked ahead of us but I don’t know why. Without looking it up I bet Troy has a harder SOS.

RE: Final Regular Season Polls
Tulane easily gets it with a CCG win. Honestly they should until the SB convinces the nation we are the premier G5. We have not yet on the field, rankings, head to head, recruiting etc even this year with the early P5 wins. We are closer than we ever have been and should be a done deal once teams leave the AAC but it will take time and more seasons like this. I do not think the Belt has ever had a winning record against the AAC IIRC if so it is not common.

Weird how that matters except for all the times it doesn't.

If UCF and Troy both win, Troy should get the bid. I'd bet a lot that UCF will just end up getting it with 3 losses, though.

UTSA over Troy or USA is a travesty. CUSA is a joke. Losing record to every conference but the MW by one game lol.
