Correct. ODU does not plan on touching the stadium anytime soon for any further major renovations (e.g. expanded capacity, extra suites, etc.).

There was talk about adding a couple of elevators at Ballard for next year. Any further info or was this just another attempt to pacify fans

Everything is talk until they let a contract.

The elevator work was never supposed to start, in earnest, until the season ended. It should be complete prior to our season opener next year.

Was at an event last week at Ballard and two elevators were being installed on the west side. Didn’t get over to see if they were doing same on east side.

If that is the case, that is absolutely awful news!

If it’s a money issue, I don’t understand why Justin Verlander hasn’t stepped up to the plate. It would be a drop in the bucket for him to help a program that helped him gain his riches.

He declined to take part. And they offered up a lot. More than anything they've offered any other athlete.

Yeah and Ben is pretty active on Twitter in supporting the Monarchs. Justin might be the richer of the two brothers, but Ben is my favorite of the two

Would love to know why Justin Verlander doesn’t rock with ODU. Maybe it’s valid… maybe not. Talk about holding a grudge it’s been years. I don’t even recall him wearing any ODU gear post-game or otherwise. I’m sure the University has reached out and tried to mend what is broken. It would be awesome if Justin had Bazemore level enthusiasm.

The rumor is his discontent started when Guzzo was canned.
