Big pads, knew it was Harkema. Wasn’t sure the game or player. Guy I grew up with played LB, Scotty Wyka.

RE: Twitter
Mass layoffs and office closures happening at Twitter. Can't help but think this is a purge of anyone that has criticized Musk and/or his takeover of the company. Consolidating power so that he can use the platform as his personal soapbox.

General Motors, General Mills, Audi, Pfizer, and Volkswagen have all suspended advertising on Twitter. What a mess. Have you ever seen someone tank a business so fast?

Twitter the private company <> Free Speech. I thought he had to take a citizenship test?!

Hardly the visionary that he incessantly projects.

Did he REALLY expect other auto companies to support his financial ventures with their advertising?!

TL:DR

Every summer there's an event where ad companies come together and buy digital ads for the next year for google, youtube, facebook, twitter, etc. Usually, twitter gets $6-900 million and it's a sizeable chunk of revenue for the year. Because of the pending Elon sale, companies had questions and twitter had no real answers, so no one bought ads. It's gonna have nothing but MyPillow ads at this rate.

RE: Twitter
And now Musk is threatening to "name and shame" advertisers who pull out and organize boycotts. What about their "free speech"? They can't decide to pass on twitter? He's a toolbag.

Musk is taking a full wrecking ball to Twitter.

And now anyone can purchase a "blue check" for 8 bucks. The check system was to verify that your public figures, celebrities, sports stars, media personalities, etc., where legit, and not imposters and scammers.

Now? It'll be a free for all. His anarchy will crash the platform.

I use social media, but tbh, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep if they all disappeared.

Now he's threatening bankruptcy, essentially screwing his investors.

I'm assuming he cut corners on pretty much everything to try to make it affordable to more than a few of the richest. And it's coming home to roost.

I suspect the larger car manufacturers will get their EVs going at a more sustainable level than Tesla will ever manage.

Rather amusing how fast and hard liberals turned on Tesla. Driving a Tesla used to be their badge of honor, I guess they still have the Prius and Subaru..

I more like how the top GOP are blaming Trump for their terrible midterm results.

Yea, as if the GOP itself isn't to blame for Trump.
