You're overstating it's importance. Nobody here or anywhere else clings to internal polls either way. There is a much bigger problem with the brand name outlets who are 8,10,16 points off in statewide polling. That's even worse than a biased internal poll because it's more trusted.

Well that we all can agree with. In the last 10-12 years there has been a much bigger D bias in polling. When Bush was in office after 9/11, there was also some R bias across the line too.

Dems were convinced Kerry would win. W. got a brief "war" bump after 911.

Yeah, perhaps we'd have actually accomplished something positive and lasting in Afghanistan while we had the world with us. Instead, we jumped into the Iraqi quagmire that H.W. was smart enough to stay out of and squandered the goodwill that 911 brought. Thanks W!

Nate Silver’s 538 now gives Walker the slight edge of winning the Georgia Senate race. Had been Warnock until the past few days.

This may be a bad thing for Walker though considering how far off Silver has been the last few cycles lol

Silver is just an aggregator, he really doesn't do much but interpret what it says. I just hope Kemp having such a big lead in the polls makes Republicans lazy and not turnout. That would hurt Walker.

If my choices are a Maoist and an Ex-Jock. I'll vote the Ex-Jock and hope he has good advisors.

I don't like Alred, but with Walker's past history that haunts him? You never know. If this were 10 years or more years ago? Walker would lose by double digits. I wonder what happened to someone likable who have not controversies in his past? The people elected Trump into office because he is not Hillary Clinton, but have the bigger baggage than her. Now, we are electing undesirables on each side to lead our country. I do think we need a third party as a spoiler for both sides, and find someone who can led the majority of this country, but not for their base. This is what is killing our country.

Before the Senate runoffs in January 2021, that was a distinct possibility. Not anymore.

538 isn’t just an aggregator. It weighs polls based off sample size, pollster rating (subjective), and perceived poll bias.

He works as an ABC consultant and rates any Washington Post/ABC poll as an A+. That pollster was wildly off in state polling in 2020. Because of this and his bias towards certain pollsters, his data is skewed to the D side. He’s living off of 2012.

I certainly hope this coming Saturday that HW finds himself on the sidelines in Athens. #1 vs #3 and first home game after the death of coach Dooley. The entire state of Georgia will be watching. All on the last Sat before Election Day. UGA football is a huge deal and it’s an advantage that Herschel has that Warnock has 0 access to. Use it.

I find it amusing that libs take shots at Bush always saying he’s not smart. Always.
Yet they never say that about Biden? A guy who simply has no clue.

Hypocrites.

Walker is going to win. All indications are moving in his direction and common folks are seeing all the personal attacks against him as just that with little to substantiate them. Everyone now knows the media is biased to Left Leaning Democrats. It’s not even trying to be disguised anymore. The cat is out of the bag and Warnock is a racist radical no matter how hard the Media tries to run cover for him. Not a good look for Dems.

If that racist Commie SOB Warnock wins, Georgia is gone as a decent state.

Georgia is still a decent state. It's the cancer called Atlanta which is the terminal illness.

And I'd say bet on Warnock winning because no matter what the polls say, and no matter how many more votes Walker gets than Warnock, nothing has been corrected regarding fraudulent vote harvesting, bogus ballots, and crooked precincts in two of Atlanta's counties. IOW, it's the SOS as 2020.

Dumbazzes.

Just to think, there are "strategists" getting pain hundreds of thousands of dollars to help the Republicans win back the Senate and some mope like me on a message board knows better.

Except Kemp dominated Abrams.

In order to win elections, moderates and single-issue voters have the power. It seems the single issue that caused defections from Kemp to Warnock was the issue of Walker.
