Didn't Isaiah Stokes come from UF? Florida has a new coaching staff. Not related, just interesting.

Scary that Keyontae Johnson still doesn't have a diagnosis or known reason for his Dec 2020 collapse.

If this is the missing piece to get us to the Final Four, with a shot at a National Title, and it certainly could be, is it worth it?

Just saying.

Sorry ... Signing the Boy Wonder last season ... Which we all thought was a shot at all the above ... ended up NOT being worth it ... My opinion. Penny's call ... 04-cheers

I think most everyone would agree it's Penny's call to make. Not sure I understand the comment about this prospect potentially screwing up team chemistry. We only have a handful of returning players from our roster last year. All these new transfers have never played together, so with or without Keyontae Johnson, they are all going to have to develop team chemistry playing together this season.

In 71 career games at Florida, Johnson averaged 11.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He sports a 52.1% career field goal percentage and is a 37.6% 3-point shooter.

If he were to return the same as before his incident, he would be the best player on the team.

RE: Keyontae Johnson
he has a $5,000,000 insurance policy that only pays if he plays fewer games than a stated amount. I couldn't find a source stating how many games he "can" play without terminating the insurance payout. It would suck having him be a game changer and not being able to plat post-season. This is assuming he wants to keep the insurance policy valid.

Yeah heard about that. I have no idea why he would risk that.

Unless he's getting a $5,000,000 NIL deal, there is no way I would risk it ... He would have to be an NBA lottery pick to make that much, and the odds are NOT in his favor ... Take the $5,000,000 ... that's life changing money for 99% of Americans ... I know it would be for me !!!

I agree 100%. The guy is a stud and the preseason SEC player of the year.

Do something else in the sport. You are risking 5 million you may not get professionally and from what I understand he maybe risking his life just to chase a pro dream.
