We’re pretty much there now.

we never made 7 million from the CUSA media deal...CUSA teams don't play in the Cotton bowl.

Nobody cares about bowls anymore

Just a guess by McMurphy

More likely guess is that the remaining PAC Ten schools go after Big 12
schools

PAC Ten would still be stronger than the new Big 12

Washington, Wash State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, Arizona, Ariz State, Utah, Colorado better than

TCU, TX Tech, Baylor, OK State, Houston, BYU, Iowa State, Kansas, K State, Cincy, UCF, WV

In fact out of all those 22 schools, Washington, Oregon, Stanford, Arizona and Ariz State are the five best overall programs

Washington and Oregon are probably following to the Big 10.

Pac-12 is worthless without USC and UCLA. Oregon and Washington are probably going Big 10 too. If so, then theres no reason to go to a gutted Pac.

Big 12 also makes more money than Pac without those schools.

What good is the B12 without Texas and OU? Answer, not much. They’ll get poached.

I mean it’s pretty even now between the PAC 12 and Big 12. Even Oregon fans are already saying they wouldn’t be surprised if the Big 12 poaches schools from them.

Sent from the Warp via the ruinous powers of Chaos!

The B12 is by far in the most danger of getting poached. It’s been that way for years. Every B12 legacy has been looking for a lifeline after OU and Texas left. That’s after Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, TA&M left.

And their lifeline is grabbing four Pac-12 schools a day form a 16 team superconference that would be the #3 conference in sports.

I agree, it would likely be the Arizona schools, Utah and Colorado to the Big 12 if rumors are true.

The bright side of all this is the New AAC will probably not get raided. We will be just left out of a Best of the Rest conference once the Power 2 get going. [/align]

RE: Strong rumor mill - USC and UCLA to BIG 10
The reason UT/OU aren't joining the SEC until '25 is the same reason no one from the B-12 is joining the PAC. And frankly the PAC will get a setback with their next TV contract much like the B-12 is about to see without UT/OU. Most likely scenario will be the PAC & B-12 merging. That would leave Memphis with virtually no opportunity to move up. Maybe a slight opportunity with the ACC if they get disparate to add schools, but it looks bleak to me.

Then the Big 12 and Pac 12 merge to give them 20 schools.

Both one up the SEC and their 16 schools.

ACC needs to do something next.

Don't think KS or ISU are going anywhere despite their interest in the B1G. USC & UCLA heading to the B1G will make 16 schools & that's where they will stop.

Don't know about ISU, but Kansas and the B1G have been exchanging love glances across the dance floor for some time.

Personally I think the PAC 12 looks at Boise, AF, Colorado St and San Diego St as possible new members to go to 14.

ISU because of their academics, whatever that classification is that Kansas and all of the Big 10 schools have.

No way in hell Colorado allows Colorado St in the Pac 12.

Kansas is AAU

Iowa State is not.

Iowa State was AAU until this past April when they withdrew after 60 yrs. Doesn't make sense to me since ISU has one of the world's leading veterinary schools and ag schools and gets plenty of research funding including from the USDA which has its national animal lab there.

It is what it is. It’s a really weakened conference. The old AAC was really a pretty good conference. You don’t think our conference was gutted?
