RE: FB Season Tickets Sold out!
There's literally like 8 tickets left for the IU game... all singles in separate sections.

RE: FB Season Tickets Sold out!
I assume that number includes student season tickets.

Someone edumacate me. Why are season tickets limited to 23,500 in a 37,500 seat stadium?

Single game tickets are substantially more expensive than tickets included in season-ticket packages, for one thing.

8000 student tickets, 3000 allotment for visiting teams, leave some available for individual/group plans/corporate tickets/recruit tickets.

(Just guessing on this, it's possible student season tickets...of which I believe there are 5000...are included in the season ticket numbers.

Student tickets, allocation to traveling fan bases and I think they make available some for folks who buy single game tickets. They also do giveaways to school groups/youth football teams.

The article indicated they have set aside 1,000 additional tickets for incoming freshmen and transfers students so they have the opportunity to purchase tickets upon arrival to the school.

In the past, I was under the impression that student season tickets were included in the overall season ticket total.

I’m sure there is some “science” behind how much to leave open for single game tickets. Home schedule is fairly lousy this year, though early victories over Arkansas and Indiana would boost enthusiasm.

Yeah. Some of these schools will return their allocation, but if you look at ticket availability for any of the home games, it is low. It appears none are available for IU.

Does UC allocate any tickets to companies like Seat Geek in order to generate more dollars?

Well crap, IU is sold out.

Shame on me for not knowing when the tickets went on sale, but it's times like this when I wish the stadium was bigger.

Will UC consider increasing the capacity of Nippert in the not too distant future?

Doubt it, and if so it will be a nominal amount to increase premium seating and/or student seating.

That was me a few days ago. I was able to snag a few for the Navy game.

UC won't expand until demand is like this for many years and UC's future is secure.
There is bound to be more movement and other conference shake ups.

IMHO, I think if they did sponsored bar sections like the Reds have done, that could add cool ticketed SRO areas that people would enjoy and enhance gameday experience.

Darn. The games will be packed with screaming fans making life tough on our opponents, yet I have to stay in a climate controlled house with nearby food, drink and restrooms (and a clicker to follow other games) plus I miss out on that enjoyable 2 hour each way drive.

Club seats would get you most of that.

Nippert is one of a kind. Worth it in person IMO every time. Buckeyes or Bengals Meh not so much.

2 hour drive I’d be in the same boat regarding UC probably with Buckeye ticks instead though haha.

We bought three seats for two people, are under cover, and have a concrete base next to use to place drinks and whatnot. No getting up countless times for people to unload their beer. I’m happy.

To get where we wanna go they need more improvements. Not necessarily a ton of seats, but there are still big problems with concourse traffic during big games, bathroom lines, and overcrowding in the seats.

I really like how Nippert blends into the campus and think the opportunities for expansion from there are immense. The Press Box at Nippert now holds tons of events for various organizations around campus. I'd like to see them continue in that model, sorta similar to how AS Monaco's stadium is integrated into their city (beautifully, I'd add)

Haha love it. I don't think Cincy/Monaco have much if anything in common whether that be economics, gov't, resources, politics, getting projects done in timely manner, etc. Re Architect...I'm game if Clifton goes the Monaco route.
