Vinnie had a nice write up in ESPN's team by team prospect rankings:

"Pasquantino exploded as an 11th-round pick in 2019 from Old Dominion to the verge of being a Top 100 prospect. His pitch selection and hit tool are both easy pluses, evidenced by more walks than strikeouts at Double-A, but he also hit 24 homers. The raw pop is around average, normally 15-20 homers a year, but this kind of hitter often can get to more than his raw power indicates. The only real downside here is he's a first-base only fit and not a great runner, which both don't really matter."

Vinny Pasquantino starts the season in AAA.

Aaron Holiday was included in the Sean Manaea trade and is in the Padres org now. As a reliver only prospect, he has a chance to really move in the system.

PJ Higgins is back with the Cubs and is starting the season in AAA, their season starts in a few hours.

I heard once that double A is where hot prospects are. Triple A not so much. Any truth to that?

Depends on the age of the prospect. They tend to keep young guys at AA until they are really ready to make the jump (they'll often spend a short period of time in AAA, while on the way up). Either way, though, if you're in AAA, you're just one phone call away.

Connor Overton, who pitched some with the Blue Jays and Pirates last season, will begin season with the Triple-A team for the Reds. He is expected to be one of maybe 4-5 pitchers to be called up if needed.

I did a search about 2 weeks ago and didn't find Old Dominion players. But I didn't look closely for players that ended their college career at different schools.

Looks like Taylor's time in Washington is coming to an end unfortunately. It was a good run.
