NMSU on to the final. Grand Canyon made it interesting, but laid bricks when it mattered the most.

The NMSU and GCU game was good, but NMSU just had the advantage all the way through. GCU came close towards the end, but couldn't capitalize. Congrats Aggies.

GCU made it a GAME the last 5 minutes. They played well throughout despite the mostly double digit score difference. I was seriously worried the last minute of the game because of how aggressive they were playing. Still there were some bad calls by the refs on both sides. Ultimately a good game.

Let’s go Aggies! One more to go.

What a **** 1st half. Stupid shots and missed some easy ones.

Congrats to ACU on their upcoming victory.

The first half has been a defensive slugfest and SU is struggling with turnovers, enough that we still have come back to get a 28-22 lead at halftime. Our guys are feeling their 3rd game in 3 nights....

Man that was a game. SU was not about to give up and we were so tired after playing 3 games in 48 hours. Look out aggies, you have some tired, but fired up, Cats headed your way.

Tomorrow night will be very interesting to say the least. Once again the Aggies face off against a private purple and white Christian university in the finale.

Both the Men’s and women’s finals feature Texas newcomers against Western teams that were already members of the WAC. The Texas teams have strengthened the wac in basketball.

That’s good to see, it shows we made the WAC that much stronger. This is a pretty solid Mid-Major Conference.

The downside to playing in Vegas is that late games don’t begin until 11:30 pm in the East. This limits the audience.

Why? Most of the Texas teams don’t even go to their home games. Why would they go to a neutral site? If you move it from Vegas, you move it to Phoenix. From the games I have seen, this seems to be the best attended WAC tournament I have seen. ACU had a pretty good crowd. If they’re attending this well as a 6 seed, Vegas and distance, doesn’t seem to be an issue.

The WAC is not moving the tourney to Texas.

It looks like Seattle had a nice contingent in Vegas.
