I'm excited for the opportunity, personally. The only thing which would make it better is if Western were coming as well.

True. But I also think the Sun Belt was a better basketball conference before the 2013 realignment.

I'm over Stanz and ready for a change. Every team hits their biggest three of year when they need it against us. Haven't looked it up, but we have to be towards the bottom if not the bottom at defending the three.

.
Figures, Lovett had 10 points in his last 4 games combined and all of the sudden he has 20 and goes 6-9 from deep. Expected Brewer to have a lot of points but not Lovett seems to happen to WKU in league a lot. Probably won't make double figures against UTSA.

La Techs coach looks like a f*cking dork. I don’t know how y’all expect to be taken seriously with that loser as your head coach.

Sorry, that was just my visceral, non-analytic, gut feeling when I first saw him today.

UAB without a doubt #1 in the conference at the moment. Victories on the road against the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the conference.

RE: CUSA Basketball - Week 4 of Conference Play
Is Lofton really THAT good? He gets a ton of love and fellating on this board but he didn’t impress me that much today. He travels before he puts the ball on the floor on nearly every possession. He turns the ball over a lot. He missed a ton of free throws. He is too fat and lethargic to make it back on defense on a lot of possessions, and is an afterthought on fast breaks on defense. He was also overly emotional, and could have been called for at least one tech, And complained a ton the whole game… the refs bailed him out on offense with a lot of really soft foul calls..

He is a really good CUSA level big man, but didn’t deliver in a big time game today IMO. At least not to the level that he’s hyped up to on this board…

He went for 24-and-12 against us, and our three bigs had 12 fouls between them. He has a good touch, and has a knack for using that massive beer gut to create space for his shot.

So yeah, he's good. And he really should be raking in the fast-food NIL cash.

Don't hold back after that win. Tell us how you really feel about La Tech.

After watching the game again, he played very well in the second half. The first half he saved checked out. Turnovers galore and missed almost every free-throw. He also didn’t hustle back on defense.

Jr had a bad first half, but made up for it in the second. Funny seeing teams with 7' centers who fouled out, gave up a double double, and had below average performances against Tech try and talk down Jr.

UAB needed the unforced errors, Jr's Bad 1st half, Cobe hitting every part of the basket but the net, and Walker playing out of his mind. UAB has a really good team and are the class of the conference, but I don't expect to see those issues for Tech again come March 5, Walker may still have another lifetime performance, but I expect Tech to cleanup the unforced errors, Jr to come out firing early, and the law of averages to let some of the balls to fall for Cobe.

So the law of averages won’t allow all of our guys that had bad games to play batter, cut down on the turnovers, and Archibald to come back down to earth? Lol. Hell Jr might even get a three second violation and called for a travel. Lol

Having Keith Williams and Zion Harmon would've helped for sure.

No one hypes up Jemison to be the second coming of Shaq either. UAB fans know he is a very limited player. No comparison lol.

And yeah the “law of averages” works both ways.

Blazers played at least the last three games vs La Tech at La Tech.
All three were thrilling games. That should be expected to continue at Bartow on 3/5/22
Jordan "Jelly" Walker etched his name in Thomas Assembly Center records.
Yesterdays game was great entertainment.

AA will come down to earth, I don't doubt that. Walker will as well. Both teams had five to six unforced turnovers each, UAB did the better job of turning those into 3's instead of 2:s and converting at line. It's not meant disrespectful to UAB I think the two teams are dead even and was pointing out to the "Jr sucks, Tech sucks, Konkol is a dork" crowd that it took a lot of things going wrong for one team and Walker having the game of his life for the Blazers to leave Ruston with the win.

None of what you mention went over my head. La Tech is a good team, and it took a lot going right for us to win yesterday. No one said Lofton sucks. And yes, Konkol does look like a massive dork.

Walker may not drop 36 again, but getting 20-25 is very possible based off of his recent play. Also, did everything go right for UAB yesterday? I hate the argument of it takes us sucking and your dude playing out of his mind to beat us.

The JR sucks and Konkol is a dork crowd is also one person by the way.

Congrats on the win yesterday. Hopefully you continue to shoot 90 percent from the free throw line and 50 percent from 3 or you’re going to be eating a ton of crow.
