Or just get the best return on investment, even though they didn't actually pay for the investment..

Maybe this would work better.

What is your point?

Mine was when I received my polio vaccine in 1st grade (2 doses) I haven’t required another. That’s 60 years. A “true vaccine” by definition. Covid vax + booster + ??? many more and for how long? A true vax? Have a better understanding why some question decision makers. Move the goalposts but playing by the same rules. In time it doesn’t wear well and cynicism creeps in.

Everyone took their shot without hesitation, and Polio was wiped out. If it ever returns we may need another shot. If we do I hope everyone cooperates like they did back then.

Covid vaccines are not vaccines by definition unless you change the definition. The likelihood of getting polio after being vaccinated is almost nil. Hence its absence here. For me going on 60+ years with no need for booster. I'm immunized not just protected.

Covid vaccine? Not so. You can have a single breakthrough or multiple with no limits to date.

You can carry and pass on Covid if currently vaccinated. I don't believe that is the case with Polio.

The CDC's changing of their definition of what a vaccine does has changed from being immunized to being protected.

Polio = immunized. Covid = protected and the longer we play this out the less this is proving to be applicably accurate.

I'm fully vaxxed and boosted and if I need #2 that will come in March. But for others with hesitancy ... I understand and do so more and more.

Why not you?

Why do you rail against those who choose not to be "protected" as one fully boosted you are potentially equal a conveyor of Covid to others?

Yep and he can catch it and transmit it just like everyone else. I still don't see why students are required to get the shots/boosters.

Right, because I listen to medical experts. It’s funny….all the people who push these lies on Fox News & in the Republican Party also listen to the experts and get vaccinated. They just want their sheep to believe something else.

Which facts do I have incorrect? 1. The shots do not prevent people from getting the virus. 2. The shots do not prevent the spread of the virus.
Which one of these facts is wrong according to the "medical experts" that you listen to/watch on CNN/MSNBC?

The shots greatly reduce the chances that you will die or end up on a ventilator. It was especially true during the earlier variants. Omicron spreads a lot faster, but has less severe symptoms.

The experts I listen to represent the CDC, WHO, & FDA. No one is perfect. I'm sure they've made some mistakes during a global pandemic. But, yes I think they are more qualified to give guidance than Donald Trump, Joe Rogan, Aaron Rodgers, & Dr. Stella Immanuel.

You missed their main source of medical guidance - Facebook. They post all the memes that make people feel superior and correct, and in the end, that's all that matters to those people.
