Heard John on 92.9 this morning. Few points I recall now:

1) 2 NBA execs he talked to said that Bates is still a top 5 guy and that his stock has really not taken a hit like some sites will lead you to believe. Something along those lines.

2) Scouts were saying Minott is a 1st round pick right now, but if Penny can convince him to return next year then he could possible reach the lottery depending on his development. Said that will be Penny's biggest challenge is convincing him to return for second year.

3) Williams will be out a couple games more. The back issues are not new, go way back to Evansville. Penny has the best therapist working with him and they are pleased with his progress. This back tweak stems from a late charge call with Tulsa.

Sure they talked about something else, but that's about all I retained.

I've said this is the team's best path to success since before the season started. Said many times if the team has to play "ankle"significant mins, the team is in trouble....

Offense runs smoothly when playing 5 on 5 vs 4 on 5 offensively. 03-shhhh

I hope the big Lineup is Duren, Williams and Minott...

Duren and Malco is just a tough lineup to make successful...On both ends of the floor.

It is possible but there are much better options.

Williams is the one guy that can consistently create his own shot. This team needs him to be healthy for the long run in a bad way.

You are crazy. Minott has all of the tools, size and athleticism that scouts drool over. That alone is going to give him 1st round looks. If he came back and developed a decent three point shot then he could very possibly go in the lottery.

I don't know... this draft page has him at 38 in the top 100 draft prospects, and pick 12 (round one) in the 2023 mock draft. Of course, the same site has Emoni Bates at pick 22 in the 2023 draft and Duren at 12 in the 2022 draft...

I like Josh...

But unless he is 6'11 he has a few things he needs to polish...

But he gets a first round guarantee...He should go.

0.0% chance Minot is a first rounder.

Your opinion is based upon what? Your superior knowledge & acumen of NBA talent?
