B12 with 2 current/future teams in playoff?
Both Cincy and Oklahoma State control their own destiny in regards to the playoffs, Ok State just needs to beat Baylor for their 2nd top ten win in 2 weeks, and Cincy just needs to beat Houston, and they should both get in over Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Alabama. A great sign for the league going forward!!

I'm very worried OSU locks UC out.

That would be amazing for the conference. No one could mention anything about being weak in football and the TV money would likely be more. Not sure the committee will let that happen though. Georgia needs to beat Bama by 20+ to even have hope. If it’s a close game Cincy is toast

I would love to see them both get in, pull upsets, then meet in the finals.

I disagree. I don't think they both control their own destiny.
Georgia is in.
Alabama win and in.
Michigan win and in.
So.....

Alabama is the wild card here but if they lose (as expected), I think the playoffs will be:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Cincinnati
4. Oklahoma State

I'd love for Cincinnati to play Michigan, even though that's probably the absolute worst Match up. Cincinnati struggles with the run, and Michigan absolutely runs it well. Nevermind, I talked myself out of it. Bring on Georgia! lol

I disagree with that. If Ala loses, they are done if Cincy and others win.

So if Alabama loses a 41-40 classic to Georgia you really think Cincy will jump them easily with a win over Houston??? If you are then you haven’t been watching college football all that long

Just a reminder to everyone that these are the only currently ranked opponents that either of the mighty SEC schools have beaten:
Georgia: Clemson, Arkansas
Alabama: Arkansas, Ole Miss
I’m not buying that both of these teams are unstoppable and have earned their way in based on SOS.

A playoff with both Oklahoma State and Cincinnati would certainly cement the conference as P5 and probably above the ACC and Pac. If they both make it to the title game, that would be where it gets REAL interesting.

I doubt it will be that high scoring based on Georgia's defense and Alabama's offensive issues. That being said, a week ago I would have said a 21-20 Georgia win over Alabama might keep the Crimson Tide in the CFP. After the way Alabama has sputtered the past few weeks against Auburn, Arkansas, LSU and earlier in the season Florida, I think Bama would be out. Especially since you have potentially UC, Oklahoma State and Notre Dame with legitimate arguments, not to mention other two loss programs like Oregon and Ohio State who have better wins.

Kelly to LSU could start a bad game of dominoes for the new Big XII…

As was said, if Alabama and Michigan win then Georgia will stay in and Cincy/OKSt will be fighting for 1 spot.

First off I have been watching CFB for 50+ YEARS. I was a FSU fan before bobby took the job. I watched Bo Schembechler coach at Michigan, and Bear Bryant coach at ALA, and Woody Hayes at Oh state, and John McKay at USC.
I think it is possible ALA gets in with a close loss to GA, but I think it is a long shot. Now if AL wins Cincy is in real trouble. I have thought from day one Cincy had no shot, but now am not as sure of that. Much of what needed to happen for them has happened.

I think he’s referring to Cincinnati possibly losing Luke Fickell to Notre Dame.
