FAU seems to live and die with 3 point attempts by Greenly and Forrest.

Dukes by 3 at the half.

Shooting 60% from field but took six less shots.

Out rebounded 6-0 on the offensive boards. 10 turnovers. Shooting 60% from the field. Good to have a lead but can’t win with empty possessions and giving up second chance field goals.

Another sloppy game so far. Surprisingly, the Dukes haven’t pressed full court or trapped in the half court. Very passive defense vs what we have seen so far this year.

Ihenacho only played a couple of short spurts but you can see he is going to be a difference maker as a 6’4” point guard. Plays under control and with a high basketball IQ. He took zero shots but made the offense better with his savvy. He is a winner.

Wooden on the other hand is playing dumb basketball. Can someone please tell him he is the largest dude on the team? He took 4 shots in the first half and all 4 were 3’s. I find it hard to believe coach is still giving him the green light as a career 30% 3PT shooter and he is closer to 20% this year. He also had zero rebounds. What a waste of talent by playing on the perimeter.

Dukes should win this if they ramp up the pressure on D. They’ve had 3 days to rest after the tourney and should have fresh legs to get more intense.

Good news - Morse isn’t taking many shots and the team is better for it. We don’t need an out of control gunner to sabotage the offense. Maybe coach had a little talk with him to define what is and what is not acceptable.

All of this sounds very similar to the 1st half of the Murray St. game.

Let’s hope the second half doesn’t go the same way.

Wooden with another missed 3. And he isn’t benched. Hard to explain why he is allowed to continue to launch 3’s. Let Falden and Hodge shoot all day, Wooden never. He should be taking all his shots inside 5 feet and being a physical presence for this team.

Customer service is wrong, try the link i posted above, some of the others only gave me audio also.

Yeah seems like it just automatically switches to audio if the video won't load so then reloading won't do any good, gotta go back and click video again. At least that's how it seemed for me.

Nice spurt from the Dukes up 8. Ihenacho controlling the play the last few minutes. He will be a huge help to this team.

Amazing what happens when shooters take the threes. Dukes made a nice run there. FAU guy is a big homer. Every JMU steal is a hack.

Edwards with 2 makes at the rim. The only place he should shoot. He gave a nice shot fake at the 3 pt line and drove for an easy layup. Rinse and repeat. That is his strength with lots of quickness and length, but little shooting skill.

I'm a broken record ....but I like Edwards game. Especially how it opens other teammates up. He is the opposite of the spot up 3 guy. Get it and attack and/or dish to a teammate
