Y'all are acting like we just got left out of the BigXII expansion. Sheesh. Calm down. It's was just one game. You are embarrassing the fan base.

I'm not talking about the team's performance. I'm talking about this board's performance.

Its because one of the most turnover prone teams in the country for the last two years actually looks even more undisciplined this year. That is what has people ready to melt. If someone cant understand that Im not sure what to tell them.

Memphis board melt-down
Ive stayed away from his board for a good while... decided to voice my opinions after watching multiple shitshows and an absolute emotionless attitude from Penny... I know things from the past Penny years and why I think he acts this way. Im just sayin, he puts on a good show but I have my doubts about how much he actually gives a ****.

RE: Memphis board melt-down
I probably haven’t posted in 2-3 years so I’ll be one of the miserables to pop in after a bad loss. It’s not that we lost another early non-conference game in embarrassing fashion. It’s that once again, for a third year in a row we look like we have no clue how to play. So much so that every single analyst says the exact same thing, we run no offense, we have no identity, we have no plan. I love Penny, I want him here, I want him to succeed, but he as magnificently failed year after year in teaching this team how to run an offense.

I’m mainly disappointed in myself for believing once again all off season that it would look different.

Some of you guys really need to take stock of your priories in life.

But don't let me stand in the way of the 30th consecutive year of a nuclear meltdown after an ugly early season outing. YAWN

RE: Memphis board melt-down
We need a grad assistant to make copies of all the press clippings to remind the coaches and the players of how good they are. They must have forgotten.

Come on....this is the #1 recruiting class in the nation last year. Penny is an all star recruiter. They got a hall of famer coach on the bench. They have 2 NBA all stars as coaches on the bench. These players were 5 star players ( against chump high school competition, I might add).

So, reality finally sets in and the fan base has a hard time dealing with it.

These so called elite players need to go back to their apartments, sit down and watch REAL elite players and teams play basketball, TEAM BASKETBALL. There are plenty of them playing on tv now a days.

Pitifull.....

That says it all. I thought there was a purpose for bringing on Larry Brown but it looks as if he his largely ignored. He wears his frustration on his face constantly.

Simply put, we have no offensive scheme. We play AAU glory ball , except for the defense. That's the only thing that prohibits our game from being 100% AAU.

But but I was told by the experts here we had hero hardaway, yoda brown, and rasheed to keep it real with best talent ever to walk on a court.

What a joke

I'm worried that much of that talent will be gone. Some of it may not wait out the season as they aren't doing anything within this broken "system" to improve their draft stock. Duren may decide to go the Wiseman route.

I have to wonder sometimes how strong a grip you guys have on reality.
