Houston would win by at least 40 points.

Here we go lol.

UTSA plays a C-USA schedule, Houston plays a much much much much much tougher schedule in the AAC. It wouldn’t even be close and you know it.

Houston's SOS is 125
UTSA's is 128...

SOS is an annoying metric. Too many people do SOS rankings and they all have different formulas. This site has us at #81 and yall at #123.

For sure and I just picked the most favorable one because thats all anyone does with SOS rankings. They sift through the rankings to find something that strengthens their argument. Honestly, I can admit that UH played a really weak schedule this year. Weakest we've had since being in the American. We avoided Cincy and UCF by luck of the draw (though we should end up getting Cincy in the CCG) and we scheduled super light in the non-conference. Nevertheless, I do find it telling that the toughest game yall've had this year has been the Memphis game. A game which you trailed by 14 entering the 4th quarter. Now, kudos on yall for pulling that one out but I think that game highlights the difference in competition level between the two leagues.

Also for anyone wanting to see a UH-UTSA matchup, you're getting your wish. UTSA hosts us for their opener next season.

There have been a lot of tough games. Memphis was on the road along with Illinois. Probably the most underated matchup was @ Western Kentucky which we won in a shootout. Their QB is #1 in passing in the country and they have not lost since we played them. Before you say they suck, their QB, Bailey Zappe threw for 488 yards with 3 TDs and no picks in their loss to Michigan State and 365 yards with 3 TDs vs Indiana. They are going to win the CUSA east and meet UTSA or UAB in title game.

Really the comment about beating us by 40 was moronic. That wouldn't happen. I think its more of a coin flip type of game if we are being realistic.

Right, a game against an AAC team projected to finish 3-5 in league gave you a tougher game than a team that's 5-1 in CUSA and projected to meet yall in your CCG. That's my point. It's a tougher league but yah, the 40 point comment was dumb.

We'll have some graduates and maybe one or two declare early but the core of the team should carryover.

We need to bring back Frank Harris for super senior season. If so, with McCormick and all wrs it should be a good game.

Ouch. North Texas bit it against Buffalo as well. League is going to be abysmal in hoops.

Its possible. But fairly unlikely. If Houston can finish with just one or two losses---I suspect they will draw a P5 opponent in a bowl.

An undefeated UTSA vs a one or two loss Houston would be fun to watch in the First Responder or Armed Forces Bowl.

Not going to happen. UH will play a P5 school somewhere.

It's a waste of time arguing with fans from ECU, Memphis, Houston, Tulsa, and especially Tulane. They are like those guys in their 60s who try and flex their entry level boat and entry level 3 series on guys in their 20s. All this time in existence and how little they've accomplished. [/b][/code]
