Honestly I’m leaning more towards the fact that they’re both a LaTech and Bama fan. Two of the rudest, most annoying, hateful, spiteful, standoffish, and downright mean fanbases in D1 college athletics. Sadly I’m rooting for LaTech tonight to win in basketball against them for the reason of elevating CUSA basketball and raising chances of an at large bid for the conference, but man I almost just wish it would go on for hours and they’d call it a tie at 0-0.

BTW, on Tech's official website which has schedules and news, etc...they show tonight's opponent as Alabama-Tuscaloosa.

Gotta love it! Schedule has that plus Alabama-Birmingham, and of course Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana-Lafayette. All the city tags...we're an equal opportunity name-dropper.

Look forward to it buddy, I fully trust Holtz to address our depth issue on the DLine this offseason that you were able to take advantage of. UAB has won once in Ruston at the peak of the return, so don't set your hopes to high for that whoopin. Just keep Mrs. Clark in Birmingham, because every other program in the conference would be embarrassed by their coaches wife having to be taken off the field by a couple state troopers.

To the UAB fans that don't carry themselves like Smaugy here, good luck the rest of the season. Hopefully Tech can help the league out on the hardwood this year where we've failed on the gridiron. Good luck again and see you guys on the hardwood.

I've been on several road games over the years. This is the only instance where I've heard where a UAB coach's wife was out of line. Coming from the most perennially aggrieved fanbases on earth, I'm not sure if it's even real.

And supposing it is, I'd have to wonder how she was treated by the home fans to illicit such a reaction.
