RE: 11/07 Polls: UTSA #16 Coaches Poll
I believe, sans chaos, they’ve hit their poll ceiling until conference championship week.

RE: 11/07 Polls: UTSA #15 AP, #16 Coaches Poll
They will move up 1 or 2 more spots even without any chaos. For instance, A&M (#11) is at Ole Miss (#12) next week and that loser will fall behind UTSA (as long as they keep winning). A couple other teams (Michigan State, Wake Forest) still have some challenging opponents and they could fall behind UTSA too.
But they're probably close to their limit.
They really need to be in the CFP Top 25 this week.

Yep, there was no stopping them. They scored at will and he wasn't even playing. I heard an Ootsa fan saying that Harris might have one more year after this one but even if he did I think he has the capability to play in the nfl already. He has smarts, the legs, and the arm to make it. He's ready and I'll be selfish here, I don't want my Miners facing him again either. LOL

UTSA is solid. Hopefully they make the CFP Top 25 on Tuesday. They definitely deserve it.

Our defense did make some plays here and there and vould have got them off the field, but made a few mistakes. Then UTSA adjusted and became unstoppable. Richardson was getting picked on and McCormick killed us.

Thank yall for the kind words. I believe if we do make it in the CFP poll, we more than likely will be ranked in the 20s.

I wasn't so impressed. UTSA looked good, but UTEP looked small to me. The competition in CUSA is terrible, so there's always that to remember. Anyway, good luck UTSA.

That's rich coming from someone who picked us to lose to both LA Tech and UTEP.

Good! I'd love to beat a top 10 UTSA in the conference championship game! ;-)

He has 2 more years if he wants them. Has a medical RS he can use and the Super Senior rule. Doubt he uses them both, but feel fairly confident that he'll be back next season now that Traylor is returning.

You think so? I don't. Why would Harris risk getting hurt just so that he can play for Traylor? It doesn't make any sense and if he had any he would put his name out there for pro football. He's ready and doesn't need one or two more years of fbs football. It'll be a case of show me the money. We had a player a couple(?) of years ago that jumped to the nfl and is doing pretty good. You might know of him, his name is Aaron Jones and now he's even making commercials. We at UTEP were sad to see him go but no one was upset with him for watching out for himself first. As a matter of fact the majority were telling him, leave before Coach Kugler kills you on the field and you'll lose your chance for the nfl and for nothing because Kugler's entire play mind was based on poor ol' Jonesy who was sometimes getting pretty banged up and for nothing. You should have seen how badly he looked at the Ut austin game. He was the whole coaches scheme because that's all Kugler knew, 3 yards and a ball of dust.
If Harris stays and gets hurt he'll rue the day he made that decision. Even as a second stringer in the nfl he'll still be making big bucks. So don't try to come here and tell us how many years he has left, you're only thinking of your fan ego and the school but not what's best for Harris.

I think it's because I'm not convinced he has an NFL caliber arm. I haven't seen him mentioned as a draft prospect much at all.

No one knows whats best for Frank Harris unless you are Frank Harris. Two can play the same game.

They definitely won't climb by beating USM or North Texas. UAB is having a ho hum season as well, which is surprising.
I figured the QB play from UAB would be better but that class from IMG was not great. App took David Baldwin-Griffin and he flamed out at App, entering the transfer portal more than a year ago. He didn't find a landing spot.
