Man, we missed that kind of number. Can't wait to continue to get higher.

I’m happy to see UTSA and UTEP increasing as the season goes. If they can both win next week, I think FAU will be a tough one, then the Sun Bowl should be rocking for that game.

This game was one where fans kept asking if that was the correct attendance. It looked like the crowd was bigger than the announced number.

Thought utep would be higher honestly. Takes a while to win back fans though I suppose.

That isn't true at all. There is no way UNT had more than 2,000 in Apogee Friday night. You can count all the players, and the band, the coaches, the ticket-takers, the concession stand workers, and the few people in the stands, but there still wasn't more than 2K in our stadium at any time Friday night. The fans have turned on our program. Go back and look at the stands for the Marshall game. The truth is right there.

It's refreshing for someone to admit this instead of defending it. WKUYG is somewhere smiling with approval.

No suppose about it, it does. Way too many other things for students and people to get into when your team has been bad for several years in a row. What helps UTEP is that they are the only game in town, they keep winning the fans will eventually come back.

I was thinking the same thing, but I wasn't going to say it myself. I didn't want to "kick you while you are down."
I was going to be nice and say maybe 5k, but I would say 2-3k is closer guess. I don't blame you all though.

The people out there are good at sneaking over the fences. No way to know exactly how many got in unnoticed.

I think if you counted at the exact moment the early arrivals were starting to leave while the late arrivals started to filter in, you could get 18-20 or so.

I'm a fan of counting tickets sold. Wish we could do it.

I heard the former Miners dug a tunnel under the Sun Bowl. Some have might discovered it and started using it.

The Sun Bowl was remodeled the last couple of years and capacity is down from 51,500 to aproximately 46,600. If JCMiner would post his video of the crowd would someone please tell me how another 28,000 would fit into that stadium?
