I think most of our military (apart from the fruit loops that this admin has been trying to bring in as of late) would never side with him. They will uphold the Constitution, but once he starts disregarding that I think we'd see some power struggles. It's really no different than how, if this clown HAD been successful in his push to disarm citizens, you'd see multiple sheriff's departments refusing to comply.

I am afraid that our senior military officers would go along. The officer selection process has been effectively politicized to favor the properly woke over capable warriors since the Obama years. The resulting incompetence is one major reason why we just had to steal out of town after losing (badly) to a bunch of goat herders in pickup trucks in Afghanistan. If you look at the future plans by the top brass--particularly CNO ADM Gilday and Marine GEN Berger, or maybe I'm just more familiar with them--they are an absolute sad, sad joke. If I were in charge, I would probably fire at least half of the general officers/flag officers (GO/FO) in the military today--without replacement. The Navy, for example, has 280-odd admirals for 290-odd ships. I think they could easily manage with half that.

Diversity, inclusion, equality, and climate change have all become more important than winning wars to those people.

As far as the rank and file troops, I don't really know which way they go. The rampant indoctrination currently underway may be having the effect intended by the leftists in power, but my guess is that recent events in Kabul have cost them a lot of political capital.

I had the same reaction to that yesterday as this woman. She was far more eloquent than I in expressing our displeasure with this idiot cheat.

We've seen what has happened in Australia where the police have gone "Full Gestapo" with the population, arresting them left and right for wandering 500 meters from their homes.

and what will the police claim when the "SHTF" and they're being arrested for complying with illegal orders, "we were just doing our job".

I have a police officer and two USBPs living close to me and I know them well I need to ask them what they are gonna do if The SOBs gestapo start arresting people for not getting vacced or masked. It is a very slippery slope as most of them have families and they need to eat so I'm figuring that they will "just follow orders".
