So anti-white skin color should be the selection criteria instead of fanbase size, attendance, facilities, academics, endowments, TV ratings, prestige, and brand?
Yikes. You see how racist you sound, right?

Did you even pay attention? The story was about the punches and a guy getting knocked down/out. They used the descriptive term "black guy" to illustrate which guy they were saying threw the KO punches. Hell, there were 3 white guys throwing punches at 1 black guy, so they blew it if that was an attempt at playing the race card. They went on to mention and link to fights at other games. They weren't picking on poor ol' oppressed black Memphis. We simply had the better fight to show.

Your ilk are righting articles and claiming that Memphis' lack of Big 12 pedigree is a racist conspiracy. Don't preach your bull**** and lies here. GTFO.

Our ilk are “righting” articles? Is that opposed to wronging articles?
Maybe if our administration had been more homophobic, we could have gotten in too.
I think the main reason that Memphis was not (yet?) selected by the Big 12 is that the athletic budget and revenue is below average for the AAC. See the tweet from David Rudd responding to a fan who asked why the ticket prices are higher for the Miss State game. If Memphis wants to join the Power 5, Athletic Department revenue has to increase.
