When you’re selling your success to the general public in a fundraiser you certainly do advertise your selling points…you want people to believe they are donating to a successfully run University…If Memphis isn’t doing that maybe that’s Why Memphis has such a low endowment…

This entire conference has whored itself out to get into a better conference situation at least 1 time in the past 16 years.

If you join the left behinds, you’ll eventually become the left behinds.

It’s a vicious circle.

If you’re invited by this Big 12 minus OU and Texas, then you haven’t been sought after, you’re just filler material. You are there to plug the leak on a sinking ship. In the short term it may bring in more money, but it’s not getting you to the next level.

The best long game is with the AAC, if we keep ourselves together.

Yet every school in the AAC would walk over broken glass to get out of the AAC.

To be fair, we waited until after lunch - you can't come up with something like that without an all-hands-on-deck from the graphics department.

Reminds me of the not so distant past when many of us did our best ho dance in front of the B12 Gentlemen's Club only to get left at the door wiith no greens for the services rendered. Bob Bowlsby and then Okie Pres. David Boren enjoyed playing the field to look up our skirts but then went back home to their wives after exclaiming nothing to see here.
