Should be a solid recruit. I dont think they'll be that inexperienced. Many have previous college experience and all of them play hoops year round. Getting them to play together and establishing each individual role will be the challenge.

I'm hoping another JTIV with a coach who should hopefully develop him! Has similar size, and Randle is very athletic! What's your opinion? Comparison?

Probably a ceiling of Jamell Harris, with much better feel for the game. Needs to get bulkier, but good defensive instincts that I saw, and soft hands around the basket. I thought he stood out more than Pierre Brooks did in the state final. Wyoming couldn’t do anything around the basket solely because of Randle.

He did indeed redshirt first year, but played last year with minimal minutes. Do we get him for 4 years at this point??? In any case, he is listed as a center, though he is shorter than Ballard is. He has range and some moves inside.

Looking at his bio I see why college coaches like collegiate transfers over the typical 2 or 3 star high school recruit.

Looking at his h.s. bio I would have 'forecast' that he'd be in the OU rotation and average say 5 ppg his first season and maybe 6th man or starter his second.

Obviously that didn't happen.

Why? I do not know. Of course we can say the same for a lot of MSU recruits who looked better on paper than as B1G recruits and are now transferring.

Binelli just announced on his social media that he's returning this season.

There’s only one player that I wanted back from last season’s roster but he’s gone off to Butler. I hope Ty made a good decision but I’m not convinced just yet. He would have really benefited from coach Heath’s system:

Eastern Michigan transfer Ty Groce told @Stockrisers that he’s heard from Georgetown, Marquette, Clemson, Butler, UNLV, Wichita State, Duquesne, Northeastern, Hofstra, Santa Clara, Utah, others.

6’8 prospect averaged 15.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game
