I don't think the 2010-11 team was some amazing team but they are better than we are this year.

They went 25-9 in the regular season and this year's team went 16-8. Who struggled to win more????? Both teams have ugly wart losses. Hilarious to pick out how that team had bad losses and not mention all the headscratchers we've had this year.

I feel we have improved much more than we were to begin with. We are 38 in kenpom that team was in the 90s. We are playing like a top 20ish team now. That JJ team when they were freshmen would not have been able to play Houston twice like we did. I’m not trying to say that team was **** they just couldn’t handle our size and defense this year. I’ve watched that video many times over the years that was one of my most favorite games ever. I almost turned the game off on disgust before that come back.

That team gave arizona everything they wanted and more in the tourney, 'spoon should have been shooting free throws to tie.

Your only metric to say we play like a top 20 team is playing houston close. Maybe, or maybe houston really isnt that good. Their signature win is against texas tech who is 9-8 in big 12. Their computer numbers are great because they blow everybody out though. I guess we'll see in the tournament.

We sure got hosed at the end of that game. It was a shame and Derrick FAvors was a beast in college. I was surprised he didn’t do anything in the nba. That Arizona team was not a good defensive team though. Our defensive size and intensity is what makes me think that this team could beat them handily.

Kenpom was 90

They did win a lot of close games

They also swept UAB
Swept Southern Miss
Won at Gonzaga

They were a solid good team that even if they had lost to UTEP in that final should have been an at large team ahead of the very UAB team they swept and advanced further in the conference tourney

They were much younger than this year's team overall

Saw someone say we would have killed them or something to that effect. Er, both teams are we. Sometimes there is recency bias and sometimes we overstate past teams. This year's team was a bubble team. Had a nice run late but not that great. As mentioned, this year and 2011 seem similar in overall strength, in different ways

2012 added Adonis Thomas. This year the team was good so could have won. But not as good

Our kenpom is much greater than or equal to any of those other teams except Barton’s sophomore year. This year obviously had extenuating circumstances. If you can’t wrap your mind around that then that’s on you.

The refs were actually trying to help us when it became obvious the AAC could be a one league team going to NCAA Tourney after Wichita St lost.. Let's be honest for a second, Williams should have fouled out at 10 minute mark of the 2nd half, but the refs spared his life.. Williams being Williams kept being stupid and they booted him 5 minutes later.
