and yes I know why we embargoed them...but the fact remains I would prefer not to live in a country embargoed by its super power neighbor.

UMemphis is so dumb that he thinks American companies not being allowed to export goods to Cuba somehow factors into why Cuba is a chithole. Newsflash, Cuba nor it's residents have money to buy anything. Last week I posted a thread, or someone did, that the Cuban government was going to open their economy to capitalism. Seemed like the board leftist avoided that thread like it was an ebola epidemic.

Wrong again. Cuba buys stuff, mostly food and fuel from Canada, China, Spain, Netherlands, etc. Venezuela's economy is in shambles because the government confiscated at gunpoint all of the private companies and industries....that including a GM plant and I think an Exxon operation. They confiscated the largest toy distributor
