He just wants to imply that Penny knows all he is going to know so he doesn't have any "excuses".

Let turn it this way...Two hall of fame coaches with more talent and about the same level player of experience as Pennys squad have losing records.

Why is that.

You are one unique individual aren't you. You must have special powers----you must have the power of a woke liberal----I mean for someone to have the power ---in spite of a statement already on record --to state the opposite of what said person stated--implying the statement was wrong or worse a lie

Once again----I AM THE PENNY DEFENDER.

People on here basically implying that Penny is an imbecile/idiot. They have stated repeatedly that even though Penny has been in BB his entire life ---that Penny can't/couldn't grasp the very basics of the game. Stuff like installing an offense etc etc etc

WIN or LOSE ----Penny knows the game of BB----nobody knows the game better.

Again you are so unique --you even stated that you know what I meant to imply ---what a special person you must be . You said so Penny doesn't have excuses .

You must (obviously) be apart of the EVERYBODY GETS A TROPHY CROWD . Unlike yourself --I am certain that Penny --would never make excuses about his record .

There is no bigger Penny fan----because there is no bigger MEMPHIS STATE fan----I want Penny to WIN every game-----but win or lose it will be on him---he is the head coach---the buck stops with him.

Now please tell us the truth ---are you unique with special powers ---or just 10-13 years old ?

I am someone who sees through your petty troll attempt.

Another question...Why is it that coaches improve as they gain more coaching experience?

You know because as you state being involved in basketball your entire life is enough to know everything there is to coach.

Again--you know my intentions better than I do ---everyone knows what you are

They don't----Penny knows as much about the game of BB as he will 10 years from now---there is only so much to know---BB is not hard
and contrary to some opinions Penny is not an idiot.

Correct
So you are saying coaches don't get better with experience...

And you seriously want people to believe you aren't trolling.

Bill Belichick is a fine coach, but if he didn’t already know, he figured it out this year. Players kinda matter.

Yeah. But he said that while he was signing 75 kids to scholly in one signing class - just to keep the other schools from getting good players.

Obviously both players and coaching are important...

The concept of basketball is easy. Get the ball and throw it in the hoop for offense. For defense, stop the other team from throwing the ball into the hoop. But to act like coaching, teaching and the schemes that go into are "easy" is absurd. That is like saying building a car is "easy" because you are taking some pieces of metal and putting them together.

Good coaches need good players and good players need good coaches to win at the highest level. Learning to coach, learning to teach, learning how to engage teenagers, how to change their mindset (me first, go to guy, etc.), how to consistently motivate teenagers, etc. is not easy. Anybody who claims otherwise is simply trolling or never been around teenagers...
