Do you mean rejected recruits, or transfers? We're talking about transfers mostly these days. But make no mistake. We made our bones by getting under the radar recruits.

And unless you are Bama, Clemson, or OSU, then all recruits are rejected from somewhere. The guys at UTK dreamed of playing for Bama or Georgia.

Likely not but it’s 3 sons and it’s a story about the mess that is UT and about a disillusioned hardcore UT Alum.

Oddly, I think we had a better shot at him coming to Memphis before their ridiculousness was exposed. Now there is blood in the water, and the sharks are circling Knoxville.

Ohio St usually has a staple of top recruit RB's but they did lose Sermon, Texas has a entirely new coaching staff and I'm not sure how much trust Gray would have going to somewhere trying to completely rebuild, not really sure if Norvell was the head recruiter when he was here by I think they have a couple RB's coming in and 1 returning. Oklahoma is losing Stevenson but Brooks decided to come back after opting out last year but Gray would be an immediate help to them and OU will be in the running next year for a NC with their vastly improved defense. That just leaves Memphis, our running game took a huge hit losing Kenny and it showed only have 4 100+ yard game rushers I think we could use him more than any other team listed

Call me crazy, but I think we need to pass on Gray.

I don't think you are crazy because I understand the concerns. Having said that we don't know all of the details. If he gets approved to play he is a one year guy and then off to the NFL. If he is not approved he will simply work out for a year and hit the combine. There is some risk I suppose but my gut says take him if he is willing to come in with no pay!!
