Yeah...It's a giant waste of money without the entertainment value of Vegas.
I have to admit...Im in a lottery pool of 20 at my CC. We are actually winners..only because we hit for $5000 on a scratch off a couple of years ago. Otherwise? We would be in the hole.

However, for this one... I bought several.

I, too also step up when it gets over $400 Million and donate to the cause of making somebody else rich.

I wonder if someone could set up a blind trust in a state in which your identity isn't hidden and let the trust claim the ticket?
Being able to stay anonymous would be awesome.

Unfortunately it slowed down getting to the office this morning, cause I needed my energy drink... so i stopped in the convenience store, and two people were giving the cashier's hell because they claimed they bought "X" tickets and didn't get "X" tickets...

I saw the same thing. Because both drawings are so big people are getting confused. They had large sign at the counter to remind ticket purchasers that the Mega Millions was tonight and the Powerball tomorrow.

North Carolina has the lotto app for your phone... I never have to go to gas stations for tickets anymore. It is so nice.

I thought the whole thing to get lotteries approved in red states was to make it cash only so people couldn't run up credit cards. No longer true?

That was the reasoning in TN from what I remember.

You can buy on line in NC and at grocery stores in vending machines.

Some states you can... some you cannot. I just don't remember which is which.
