Serious question, lets face it, national championships are not attainable for 90% of FBS schools. Does that mean Tarleton's intent is to stay FCS for the forseeable future?

Current CFP contract runs through 2025 season. Hard to say exactly what FBS even looks like in 2026, though I do believe by that time Tarleton and the WAC will be in it.

The intent is probably to move to the FBS when the WAC does.

I get that, I just feel like the presidents quote about winning football nattys is contradictory to going FBS. I'm probably just reading way too much into things though lol
