Looks like he won't be eligible till mid December
Even though he technically is already at temple

Will seek a waiver to practice till then..

Temple still with only 3 guards to start the year All freshman..
But have 4 other guards that are expected to join as the season goes along (2 injuries, 1 waiting in waiver, 1 mid-year eligible)

He had similar or better stats than Grimes and Jeffries did and he had an injury to contend with just like they did. I have no idea about Nolley. Cisse is probably over ranked in terms of what he brings to the table offensively. Gardner is a good player on a bad team guy.

Cisse doesn't bring much to the table offensively. He's a shot blocker and rebounder, maybe the best in his class. But he's no Wiseman, and he will have growing pains on offense. His impact will be on D, and in transition.

As for Nolley, he looked like an All-American at Va Tech the first half of the season, then fell off some in conference play. He still averaged 15+ points and 6 RBs a game. But his shooting percentages weren't good, 37% FG, 32% from 3. FT 75%.

The impact projections must be coming from the fact that we had neither player last year, and they both fill a need we were missing. A solid 5 defender, and a big perimeter player who could give the offense a big boost.

Remember, this is not a list of the best players, it's a list of who can perhaps impact their teams the most. Big difference.

Only difference in Jeffries and Rachal to me is that Rachal scores a couple more ppg while Jeffries shot a higher percentage from 3. They were both good defenders.

Rachal is a great player and these impact rankings are just fodder anyway. CBS probably had a limit on the number of AAC players to include. If they get to play, it will be a very interesting year.

Hell it may be a good thing, it could piss him off and give him some more motivation.

Despite the bit of Tulsa-Memphis smack talk on this board, I'm kinda pulling for Tulsa. I appreciate how hard they play under Haith. 04-cheers

Thanks. I think any AAC fan wants Memphis to get back to its winning ways (except against their own teams)

10 days until the season, I am pretty excited about ECU. If the shooting has improved (it supposedly is up substantially in practice), we're going to be a tough team.

Current target is Indianapolis.

Guess that makes 2 sets of tickets this year I'll have to get refunded ...

Wichita will likely be in the 2500-3000 range.

No seats within 20 feet of the court
3 empty seats on each side of each group
no aisle seats
empty row in front and behind each group.

Yeah, that MTE is shot now.

Looks like this will be the schedule for UC:

Lipscomb
Xavier
Furman
@Tennessee
@Georgia

dayton and ohio state are both without an mte, becuase of state rules

cincy is struggling to get an mte

an ohio classic seems like a very easy and doable idea

A soft schedule is good at this point in time. Need to beat everyone on it and look to continue the rebuild in conference play.

7-11 AAC record is possible with all of the instability in the league this year. That would make Tulane 12-11 pending conference tourney results.

Northern Iowa is replacing Texas A&M in the Crossover Classic.

This tournament went from being the premier tournament with all power teams, to a complete dumpster fire of turds for WSU and Memphis.

Wouldn’t be surprised if WSU pulls out with the restrictions of having to quarantine following the tournament. Also the coaching change.

That's no longer the case. KDHE removed South Dakota from the quarantine list.

I think because KS rates are so high that going to South Dakota is no longer a risk haha

disagree, no one has repalced "duke" quality yet... but removing the duke loss, since then you just lost name brand not quality.. honestly strictly rpi/net when its all said and done not mouch a difference will be noted post season

northern iowa (top 60 team), utah state (top 60 team), and saint marys (top 40 team).. is as good as utah, a&m, and ohio state

west virgina, creighton and memphis were seen as the top teams after duke left..all 3 are still there
