Very cool vid. Take it for what it's worth, but the order they seem to be standing in for drills is Bowers, Haidet, Neville, Thompson.
Noticed #21 Collins in the backfield.
Yep and noticed Richie, Rudolph, and Tucker with him and bowers

If the O- line protects him this season, he’s going to put up big numbers.

True. After watching the video again.....
Maybe I’ve been hitting the Red/Black Kool-Aid but...
Has there ever been another Huskie Qb that could make throws like that?
I’ll hang up and listen to your answers.

He threw a nice ball, but got the ball out real slow (slow motion).

Does Bowers get another year of eligibility even if he plays this year?

Yes. These 6 games do not count against eligibility. The question for him is will he want to stay and play another year or will he choose to move on with his life.

If the team is bad I'm sure it will be an easy decision to move on since he is having a child. If they turn out to be good he may want to return just to see how good they can be with a normal season.
This team has so much inexperience though. Everyone on the MAC board is predicting a bad season for NIU.

That is kind of the beauty of this situation though. With these games not counting against eligibility and the fact there will be an asterisk next to "MAC Champion" anyways, its a great opportunity to play a whole lot of young guys and get them basically free real game developmental time that they wouldn't normally get. Besides. While NIU maybe very young, they have added so much speed and athleticism that have really been lacking lately. They could be very entertaining to watch.

Hammock has also added height and size to the group. If these young guys step up, we might surprise, even this year.

Coach Hammock has completely revamped the team, and a step back is not unexpected. It appears that he has recruited well, and as others have mentioned this shortened season will give this young team some experience. The O and D line have the size, we'll see how they work out.
The number of transfers of starters has been disconcerting, however. Maybe that's the new normal in college football, I don't know.

Transfer the second you don't get immediate gratification is the popular thing in college football right now. It's almost like it is uncool if you haven`t transferred at least once. It is only going to get worse before it gets better. G5 schools have figured out now that this is a way of life and have amped up their doing the same thing that p5 is doing and are recruiting FCS at a higher rate. Just look at NIU as an example, I don't ever recall having 8 incoming FCS transfers in a single year. Thats usually been 2-3 years worth in the past. Add in the fact that NFL prospects aren't going to stay in school a year longer just because they have extra eligibility, couple that with G5 teams having very crowded rosters the next few years and I'm expecting an absolute transfer bonanza all across college football these next 3-4 years. Thats why when people were saying Nettles will never buried on the depth chart by sitting out these 6 games, I said we have no idea what is in store for the future so I wouldn't necessarily just write him off.
