I got this for cheap in the mail yesterday. Dio has that voice for rock/metal. Kind of like my man from Iron Maiden. I also picked this up as well but it hasn't arrived yet.
I've been impressed with him as a front man for Sabbath.

This Wheatus song has been in my playlist hard for the last month.
Peppy song that is extremely sad.
When he sings “how does she know who I am?” in the third verse, it makes me feel like crying for every kid who hasn’t been accepted. Because at the end of the day, all kids just want to belong.
The “her boyfriend’s a dick, he brings a gun to school” line was heavily edited as this was just a year after Columbine.
Also, you will likely recognize the male and female leads in the video

This is my current collection of Black Sabbath. Are their reasons to drill down into the individual albums?
I dug most of the rockers on the first one. Dio's vocals and the band of Black Sabbath really sounded good together on that "Dio Years" disc I just got.
Also, I have seen a lot of Black Sabbath cds <$10, and quite a few <$7-8... I could be set up to get a catalog going on the cheap if its worth it.

In going through some music while doing some organization of my cds I went to the following:
CD1 > CD2 but a good double album overall.
Finally researched a track naming/order issue from the pulled data for disc 1 and fixed it. I like The Game but I wish he'd expand his skills further out than the same ol' gang life tales
Not a bad album, but not great. Some good beats and some good rhymes are sprinkled throughout but I do think it's sub par overall to the prior two Dre solo cds (Chronic, Chronic 2001). That said, what the hell happened to DeTox? Did that get shelved for Compton? Were tracks heading for DeTox moved to Compton?

Had to get some PFunk going. Upon this recent listing, I was noticing this double cd didn't cover some songs so I guess they came out later from them than the time frame this cd covered. Man, all the hip hop samples lol...
I love the music to this, and the raps are ok....but it was never one I would always go back to revisit. It just never captured me.
Just a cool and varied listen.
Not a bad group but it appears they were a one and done. Chuck D rapping to a rock band was my initial appeal to it. Not bad overall but no real JAMS on it.
Went to a mix cd of mine I had made with Snoop Dogg cuts off Doggystyle, The DOC's debut album, and Warren G's debut album. I probabbly should have kept the actual cds I ripped them from but at the time I had the cds ripped to my computer and made the mix cd and sold off the cds. Somehow over the years I have lost the files from the original cds so now all I got is the tunes of my mix cd. Such a good cd to ride to in the car with the 12s bumping.
