Think about this; Twitter is 'fact checking' Trump's tweet, which was an opinion. How can you fact check an opinion? It gets even better. Twitter put an an info link with a statement saying something like 'find out about mail in ballots.' If you click the link, it takes you to OPINIONS from the usual suspects like CNN and the Washington Post. They present NO FACTS, just the usual liberal opinions. This is so stupid - you can't make this stuff up.

I don't know if the leadership at Twitter is stupid but I suspect they are. They have no idea about the Pandora's Box they have opened that could come back to bite them, if the FCC has any balls.

I believe it is the Communications Decency Act That allows liability protection for platforms meaning they are not liable for something that a person posted on their site. Publishers do not have that protection. These clowns are trying to be both.

The act of providing commentary on the Trump tweet suggests they are now acting like a publisher. Yank their liability protection now.

I wish Trump hadn't threatened them because it is toothless. He can't play king and decree that he is cracking down on social media. He needs the GOP to begin hearings and work on the FCC to reclassify Twitter as a publisher. Facebook should be next.

I think Twitter might have poked the wrong bear.

I just saw part of an interview with Zuckerberg where he appeared to be backing down. We'll see.

If they're not deleting his tweets it's not censorship.

Maybe I missed it but who said twitter was censoring Trump's tweet? Where was it posted? I saw a reference to censorship on Facebook but......

It's also pure speculation since we've never had a national mail-in election before. They're basically saying that their opinion of what is going to happen is correct, and Trump's isn't.

There are Republican leadership in the states and the one leading the GOP party said that there are no voting fraud doing mail-in ballots. Utah is one of the states using it. That is why both sides of the party saying what Trump being saying on some issues are false which is why they get flagged.

Personally, I wish Trump would get banned from Twitter....the MSM wouldn't know what to feign outrage over then...

Look for Team Trump to come up with its own "Social Media" app to debut around the end of September. Free Download at the App Store and Google Play. That would blow the media's head off. They will automatically complain about needed censorship on Platforms and it will destroy Twitter etc.

Incorrectly flagging something as misleading is worse than posting something that is ACTUALLY misleading.

The leftists running these social media sites really think they are more powerful than the President of the United States. Well, not one person voted for these leftist narcissists. Time for them to be unbiased or pay a price. All you have to do is look at who they have fact checking Trump's tweets to see how big of joke Twitter is.
