Actually, It was Trump donors that got the big contract to supply Hydro-chloriquine. That was the real reason for pushing an unproven drug without waiting for the research which proved the drug to be a dud for this virus if not outright dangerous.

Most doctors I have seen interviewed said it was definitely helping many patients but that in many cases it was being used as a last resort with a patient in the process of dying. They said it should be administered early in the progression of the virus to be effective. But you are absolutely right and several of these biotech companies are lobbying hard on capital hill and the MSM to sully HCQ. It is simply not a cash cow.
