Cool. I hope the G league steals all of college basketball’s top prospects.

I kinda agree. Probably the top 10 are gonna go G Leauge route. College BBall will adjust. Just means that the college coaches gonna have to develop players more to win. It will be a whole lot less 1 and dones in the college game. Now, it will be interesting to see how Coaches like Cal who rely on 1&D's.

Cal will be just fine. He’s teflon. Lifetime contract.

I was thinking more of his win/loss record. I know he has that lifetime contract, but 2 or 3 mediocre seasons, and I could see them turning on him. Bet he would bolt for the NBA before they would "re-work" that lifetime contract though.

Yea. just wait until they realize he's ONLY successful (As they deem it) with Elite players....That LC will quickly become a foregone conclusion

I envision the G league taking 7-8 of top 10-12 guys, leaving a few top tier guys. And those guys go UK/Duke/UNC/Kansas. Aka the rich get richer.

All this means is that the coaches will focus on the 4-star and high 3-star players instead of attempting to compete with the NBA "G-League".

But I think it will also expose who is just a good coach vs who is just a good recruiter. If a coach gets the 4* and doesn't develop them enough to consistently make it to the NBA after a few years, then those 4*'s gonna stop coming.

I see people like Izzo at Mich St and Bennet at UVA winning more titles, while Cal and say Miller at AZ starting to lose more.

And he wasn't winning at the level he is winning now either. Can you imagine having a 25-10 3 years in a row at UK? He would get ran outta UK.

Cal has only won one title and Miller zero.

Suprised it's not on the Longhorn Network.

The G League offer for Greg Brown was $300K, his dad says. I would think Texas could double that offer.
