AAC records total - basketball
Thought it'd be interesting in a slow time to look at aggregate records since joining the AAC:

Cincinnati: 15-3, 13-5, 12-6, 16-2, 16-2, 14-4, 13-5: 99-27 (79%) 3 conf titles, 2 tourney titles
Memphis: 12-6, 10-8, 8-10, 9-9, 10-8, 11-7, 10-8: 70-56 (55%)
UConn: 12-6, 10-8, 11-7, 9-9, 7-11, 6-12, 10-8: 65-61 (52%) 1 tourney title
Temple: 4-14, 13-5, 14-4, 7-11, 8-10, 13-5, 6-12: 65-61 (52%) 1 conf title
Houston: 8-10, 4-14, 12-6, 12-6, 14-4, 16-2, 13-5: 79-47 (63%) 2 conf titles
Tulane: -, 6-12, 3-15, 3-15, 5-13, 0-18, 4-14: 21-87 (19%)
ECU: -, 6-12, 4-14, 6-12, 4-14, 3-15, 5-13: 28-80 (26%)
UCF: 4-14, 5-13, 6-12, 11-7, 9-9, 13-5, 7-11: 55-71 (44%)
USF: 3-15, 3-15, 4-14, 1-17, 3-15, 8-10, 7-11: 29-97 (23%)
SMU: 12-6, 15-3, 13-5, 17-1, 6-12, 6-12, 9-9: 78-48 (62%) 2 conf titles, 2 tourney titles
Tulsa: -, 14-4, 12-6, 8-10, 12-6, 8-10, 13-5: 67-41 (62%) 1 conf title
Wichita St, -, -, -, -, 14-4, 10-8, 11-7: 35-19 (65%)

Is it sesame street that has the little game "one of these things is not like the others" ???

I never would have guessed that that the two teams tied for 2nd best winning percentage were SMU... and Tulsa.

I also forgot that Tulane and Tulsa were late adds. No offense, but once I refreshed my memory it hit me that those two were what finally drove away the C7... not that they weren't going to eventually leave anyway.

You only have 6 seasons for UH. We went 12-6 in back to back seasons following that misearble 4-14 campaign.

edit: also we had 47 losses in 7 seasons, not 59 in 6. Sloppy work.

RE: AAC records total - basketball
UH and Cincy have almost had an identical five year stretch in conference.

UH: 12-6, 12-6, 14-4, 16-2, 13-5: 67-23 (74%), 2 regular season conference championships
UC: 12-6, 16-2, 16-2, 14-4, 13-5: 71-19 (79%), 2 regular season conference championships

Even the normally super lopsided H2H between UH and Cincy has been relatively close at 7-5 in favor of the Bearcats in that span. Very proud of how far our program has come since joining this conference.

And an 18,000 seat arena that they fill regularly. Not that we’ll ever get to go to arenas again but just saying.

How many NCAA wins does Creighton have?

More often than 1/3 of AAC teams. Anything else?

Kind of crazy that ECU has never won a tourney game. Also crazy that ECU, Tulane, UCF, and USF combined tourney appearances are close to 10. Ouch.

Ya, it's very strange how much Wichita fans and others like to crap all over the new Big East. The 3 nubs have more than held their own over the past decade and the other 7 have performed at a level that makes the AAC directionals look like UCONN Football.

Tulsa carrying on the winning tradition as one of the best basketball programs in the league. It's a good league too.

They haven’t been to a sweet 16 since 74 and their only elite eight happened when hitler was in power.

Oh wow, that midwestern program that's outdone 4 whole AAC schools is certainly why you're clamoring to join a "regional" league with historic rivals like Seton Hall and Providence that UConn fans spent a hundred years not giving a **** about until June.

It all comes together. It has nothing to do with a floundering football program and a hemorrhaging budget. Thanks for clearing it all up, I was so confused.
