I thought the same thing. Confusing times. In regards to Harvey, I posted about him being as potential Siddle recruit on the speculation thread. Been a fan of his for a while and he’d a perfect fit

I understand it as face to face recruiting or on site but phone calls,texts.email is still ok. Most verbal offers are made on the phone with a visit setup type deal.

Knowing our need for big men, makes me wonder if he is on board with the offers to the two bigs in Raleigh and if he's made contact with them yet?

I truly believe emotions will settle down and the players will realize Siddle won't bring a dramatic change in style that will reverse the recent turnaround. And don't forget, most of these recruits were playing in high school watching UNCW play Duke and UVA in the NCAA tournament under Keatts and Siddle.

I’ll reserve my excitement about his recruiting capabilities when we offer scholarships to positions of immediate need... bigs.

Not being able to see the current players on campus is a situation that a new caco should not have to deal with but it's here. Offering a 6-4 guard is a strange way to start with the need for size -he must really like this player.

Will Felton was the only big I can recall Burke offering. He’s class of 2021. I’d be surprised if Siddle hasn’t already contacted Evan Cole. That just makes too much sense.

We will have to bring in bigs who can play immediately to have success next year, so we'll have to see who hits the transfer portal. Don't forget, he was recruiting ACC level talent, so the bigs Siddle has been eyeballing are above UNCW caliber, so I doubt he has some in his pocket.

Recruiting is not an area of concern for me with Siddle.

Might still have a shot at Felton but Iterje has some very high interest. Iterje is a great fit for an uptempo style.

Teel would definitely fill a need at backup PG. Can also play some 2 with a nice jumper, so he could fit nicely beside Shy. Siddle is going to get an experienced big, just have faith.
