I don't discount FBO's comments, as compared to a Trump rally, I thought Trump was lower energy throughout. By design, I think, but I tend to agree. The message was awesome, but was not from a crazed partisan Trump, but a controlled Trump taking the high road, again likely by design.

He awarded Airman McGee the rank of General. The Medal of Freedom is for citizens. General McGee received an incredible honor, which is appropriate for an incredible member of the military. Trump did great tonight.

I honestly don't think he saw her extend her hand but even if he did she deserved it for breaking protocol with her simple introduction opting instead for eschewing the traditional introduction.

DAYYUM! I'm glad I changed channels to watch it. Even my sons who aren't too political were ecstatic about his speech. Peloser was very, very, uncomfortable. She was probably also mad because she put her hand out to shake it but he ignored her (or missed it, I don't know). But what could she expect. It's like when I was written up and had to face a fire chief and at the end I told him "this is an awkward moment, am I supposed to say thank you at this time". It's the same thing. She just put up the articles to impeach him did she expect him to fake an amicable relationship. Oh, Fort Bend,( amicable means having a spirit of friendliness; without serious disagreement or rancor).

If I was him and I saw that hand coming toward me I would have shook it. And after I did she would not be able to tear that paper afterwards.
