Bob, I'm with you on this one...…..EMU79, who do suggest?

1) Boykins as HC would be fine as long as he has a good staff with him.

2) The bulk of Groce's salary is being paid by Illinois through this season.

3) Akron had two struggling seasons under Groce before this one.

The difference is Akron is 16-4 this year with Groce recruits! Unlike us at 0-6 in the MAC and counting in year 9...…..E Mich basketball was the sport when I was a college student! Sweet 16 in 1991, and THREE NBA players as well, Marcus Kennedy, Charles Thomas, Carl Thomas, and then after I graduated, Theron Wilson, Brian Tolbert, Derrick Dial, and A true legend Earl Boykins! Since 1998 We've had just 3 real above average players...…..2 of them in the past 5 years, and we've not sniffed A MAC title! We need EARL BOYKINS, this program is on life support, and he's the only name realistically who might take the job! It has been 22 years since we went dancing...…….

Looking good so far. Up 16-13. Binelli 2-4, from 3, Boubacar drawing fouls, Morgan just had a slick layup

I thought putting Binelli in the middle of the zone would work as a change up, but it really hasn’t. He gets picked apart inside. Murphy’s decision to not bring in another center this past offseason is hurting us big time.

Ball movement has been a lot better today. I like Gibbs. Aside from his bad entry pass to Toure, he’s made all the right decisions. It’s a shame that James has fallen out of favor, though.

Great analysis! I guess Gibbs has passed up Dillard and James! I don't understand James not playing!

No clue why Binelli is still in the game. Has played the entire 2nd half. They are killing us with corner threes.

All on Murphy for playing Binelli the entire second half. We were as slow defensively as we’ve been all year in that 2nd half.

Wasted a relatively good offensive performance. Spottsville was tremendous, as was Toure.

This team just can’t put it all together. 0-7 in conference play.

Murphy's decisions baffle me!!!!!!! Binelli is A defensive liability, and that cost us big time! Spottsville played his best game......... Toure was also impressive! We lost a game shooting almost 20 more FT! Think about that!

0-7! To compound matters we have the three most winnable games behind us. The next four are tough, I would assume 0-11 is a real possibility. I suppose I deserve this after whining about Murphy's .500 performances.

0-MAC is a very real possibility but I expect this team to scratch out win or two.

The 22 year hibernation of EMU hoops continues. No end in sight.

RE: Game Week/DAY: @Bowling Green and @Miami
Fans/Alumni/Students this was another good loss.

I believe some of you want this team to win because there are some promising athletes. From my perspective, I want a change in Men’s Basketball leadership. I hold Scott Wetherbee accountable for extending Murphy’s contract. So Wetherbee is not going to make a change unless he’s forced to do so. That might mean we need a unanimous revolt where all of us are rooting for this team to lose until a change is made. I have never rooted for EMU to lose in any sport;however, due to some very poor leadership by Gragg and a Wetherbee, I feel we have no choice. [/align]we have had to endure Gragg’s hiring of a high school coach who doesn’t have the philosophy to win on offense, defense and in transition. Simply put Rob Murphy has a great opportunity and was paid well for 9 years but it’s time to move on.

Speak for yourself. I’ll never root for my teams to lose, even when I feel change is necessary. Especially when we don’t even know if he’ll be fired or who the replacement is. There is no benefit to losing in college sports. None.

While I am rooting for EMU to lose every game so that change becomes inevitable, they don't need any help. They totally suck on their own. The end is near for Murphy. How the hell has he lasted this long with no titles or any major accomplishments to speak of? Keep those Ls coming, Murph!
